I'm one of the few in the minority that loves and defends Dominon, it had the most epic Dino fight of the entire franchise and while Fallen Kingdom is my least favourite of the Jurassic World Trilogy I still enjoy it!

You know what I just realised? The quality of the Jurassic World trilogy mirrors that of the Star Wars Sequel Trilogy; the first one is the best, while its sequels get progressively worse and more detached from the source material. I couldn't agree more in Dominion's case; when I saw it at the cinema, it felt very "samey". At least Fallen Kingdom attempted to do something different with its horror, which was very well executed. Dominion just goes for the safe and formulaic route.

Jurassic World 2015 is the REAL ending to the franchise, Fallen Kingdom and Dominion feel so disconnected tonally and stylistically from the rest of the series they're flat out unrecognizable as Jurassic Park films.

Honestly? All 3 of them are equally the best in my opinion and deserve to share the same category of being amazing films. I love both JP and JW trilogies (CC included) equally.

Fallen Kingdom was the best in the World Trilogy, it felt incredibly close to an adaptation to Michael Critchon's style for Jurassic Park. The whole World Trilogy basically gave the Fans Michael's Novels source materials on the big screen.

Best way to describe the JW Trilogy as a whole: Great Ideas executed not so great, with each entry's quality getting progressively weaker despite the ideas and overall concepts of the movies getting better and more interesting (from functioning park to dinosaurs on the mainland).

Dominion is easily the worst. And I was expecting it to be the best of the trilogy, expecting a very satisfying finale to the SAGA, solving the Dinosaurs fate, ending the character arks of the OG cast in a sweet ending that embraces the darker roots of the OG films. Didn't get that, instead got a Fast and Furious inspired, fucking locust plot. Fallen Kingdom at least had a few sweet and impactful moments. Such as the destruction of Isla Nublar, death of Brachiosaurus, Indoraptor/Mansion scene, and the ending. Too bad it went knowhere.

Wow, I did not see this coming at all and nice comparison of all three Jurassic World movies and I definitely agree with everything you said about Jurassic World Dominion being the absolute worst in the franchise and it really is in my opinion and I respect your opinion on Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom because I find it pretty underrated in my opinion and I do agree that the first Jurassic World movie is the best one of them all, not as good as the first Jurassic Park Movie but it managed to do something very different from any Jurassic movie. If you want to see better dinosaur content than Jurassic World Dominion, I highly recommend both Prehistoric Planet and Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous especially Prehistoric Planet because it was made by both Jon Favreau and David Attenborough and the dinosaurs are the main focus instead of human characters all the time and as for Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous, it may be an animated Jurassic series but managed to do a lot better that no Jurassic Movie could do. I honestly just find it annoying that Owen was basically given the most plot armor imaginable, like why did they give him the force? He just sticks his hand out and every single Dino he comes across just don’t attack him, ya know I thought the first movie set up that the hand move only worked on Raptors because he was training them, now it apparently works on every single wild Dino. Like does the hand move just send a mental signal to the dinosaurs and then they respond with “oh shit this dude has his hand out, I’m contractually obligated to not eat him”

If I directed Jurassic world dominion, I would have cut out most of the characters and only keep Owen, Macey, and Claire, and the other 2 side characters, but I would have written them in a way where you would like them, I would also really expand on the dinosaur subplot of them taking over the world, and I would have the dinosaurs show up at random, almost like the first movie, and make it feel like. The last of us, and I would expect the best from Michael giacchino, as you can tell he was busy making the Batman’s soundtrack, and put everything else on the back burner, I would even give the movie an r rating, or just really push the pg13, and have the cinematographer be either Zack Snyder, or Grieg Fraser, and I would have the composer be either Hans zimmer, or even bear mccreary since he did a great job with the soundtrack for KOTM, and if I could not direct it, I would either put Zack Snyder in charge since I feel like he could pull of a survival movie really well, or Dan Trachtenberg since he did a great job with prey, and ten cloverfield lane, and I would treat the dinosaurs like the clickers from the last of us, like slasher villains. Pleas let me know what you think of my what if for Jurassic world dominion.

I saw Jurassic World: Dominion three months ago and to be honest, I actually thought it was okay. Yeah, I know that this movie and the whole trilogy isn't perfect, but at least they're better than the sequels from the Star Wars sequel trilogy and I'd rather watch those movies than "The Last Jedi" or "The Rise of Skywalker". Anyways, have you checked out the extended edition of the third Jurassic World movie? The extended edition actually fixes all of the plot holes from the theatrical version and the deleted scenes are included as well (including the prologue). The pacing is better and there are more human and dinosaur kills (I'm still scarred after seeing the aftermath of this one fight scene). I don't know if you'll ever read this comment, but I hope this makes you feel better. You don't have to watch it, but I'm telling you that the extended edition fixed a lot of issues the theatrical version has.

Jurassic World Dominion was such a disappointment to me, and that's a shame because there were so many good things it had going for it. Jurassic World Dominion is the worst of the Jurassic Franchise and I'd say it's the worst film of the year by far. How could they waste a film within a franchise based on dinosaura and removing the focus from dinosaurs. Freaking stupid. This is the Rise of Skywalker from the Jurassic franchise. At least Fallen Kingdom had a great first and second act and Jurassic 1 was really a great entertaining film.

Three of my biggest issues in JWD is the Pyroraptor scene, the pilot woman (who for some reason is a dinosaur know it all), and some of the dinosaurs having feathers.

To be honest, there’s only two actual good Jurassic Park/World movies, and that would have to be Jurassic Park and Jurassic World, there sequels suck (in my opinion)

The first movie was the only one worth watching And so basically they promoted the mosasaur a invasive specie as a good thing Something that could infect the environment of the ocean as we know it but hey let's make it look whimsical because giant aquatic lizard And sure it's trying to say we can coexist But I don't imagine the environment we know could would ever survive even if it's a small change can set the ecosystem into basically a spiral

Why did Alan and Ellie act like they were strangers in their first meeting in Dominion? According to the timeline, they've been working together since 1993. If the movie clarified they do know one another, but haven't worked together in years, that would have made more sense. But it feels like when they address each other, they're meeting for the first time.

Jurassic world 1 was fine in my opinion. Loved the look of the park. Some good eye candy especially the gyrosphere scene but didnt care for the ingen storyline angle. Technically jurassic world 2 fallen kingdom is a slasher movie in the 2nd half. Think about it.. it takes place in a mansion, the indoraptor is the dino equivalent of freddy Krueger or ghostface, the indoraptor kills people left and right around the house and it goes after the little girl. That movie is action scene after action scene after action scene in the first half then it becomes a dino slasher flick. That's how I see it. That movie is a guilty pleasure. Jurassic world dominion.. yeah its disappointing and waaayyyy too long even by jurassic movie standards. Great video by the way.
