his longevity as RB is insane, his passing, his goal, his cross, his defending capabilities and dribble are top-notch. But the most amazing ifor me is how he can be in the same wavelength as messi and become Messi partner for years even tho he does not come from la Masia. Alves and Messi connection was insane. He know what messi is thinking and occupies the space where Messi will pass, to be able to react like that he needs an amazing football brain and he had it. For me he is the best fullback of all time

Sorry but strongly disagree with mentality and flair and even icon factor at very least one more point in each category. Second to Roberto Carlos he's one of the best right backs ever. And his play making did rely on Alo of crossing but pinpoint crossing and superb dribbling 1-2s with Messi ... I mean he could be anywhere on the pitch.i think there was another category I disagreed with too but I forgot 🤪. But yeah ide say at least 82-83 if.not 84
