Just what we didn't want! - The caravanning trip was over before it had even got going.

Жыл бұрынWe headed just twenty odd miles into Norfolk for a stay at the glorious Mill Farm Camping site, which is beautiful. If you're looking to get away from everything, then this place is the perfect spot and yet only 10 minutes away from supermarkets, pubs, shops and attractions. However, the trip lasted just one day!
We were both feeling a bit grog, which we put down to being tired because we've had a very hectic few weeks but it transpires we both have Covid 19, so we had no choice but to pack up and go home.
We were due to complete 15 nights away covering 6 private sites across Norfolk and Lincolnshire and we were so looking forward to it!
Dave just managed to capture enough footage to give you some insight into this wonderful place. We highly recommend it, so please take a look at their website by clicking the link below.

We have just started camping (at 62yrs!) and very luckily chose Mill Farm as our 1st campsite. It was perfect for us and we can't wait to go again. We stayed there for 3 nights early Sep at £23/ngt for an EHU pitch with water supply. The owners are a lovely, friendly family who keep the site immaculate. It is very quiet and on a very bendy country road but is also convenient for grocery shopping in North Walsham and lots of places to visit. Mundesley beach is only 15/20mins away. We'll definitely be going back next year and are now hooked on camping! This is a year on from your covid experience so hopefully you got over it quickly and were able to enjoy your trips soon after. Hi Dave & Helen, what a beautiful place just my cup of tea peaceful. We spotted 2 Kingfisher’s in Wales on a narrow stream about 1 month ago they were jumping in & out of the water the other colours were stunning bright shiny blue. Watch you little doggie in the long grass there are a lot of adders around in this warm weather. Hope you are both feeling a bit better 😷just relax for now and take it easy take care 👍

Just stumbled on your channel, really good entertainment. So sorry to hear about the C19 but as you say, there is a lot of it about and hopefully we will soon treat it as a part of life. We have camped, trailer tented, carvanned and motor-homed all our married life (41 years) and never left these wonderful isles during that time. Couldn't help but notice the radio, SWL or licenced..... I never go anywhere without mine either 😉. Subbed and will start watching the back vlogs..... take care. Just found your channel and enjoyed our first video. We are Norfolk based and like you managed to catch Covid in June 2022. We had to cancel a trip to the Camping Club site at Sandringham but worse still had to cancel a trip to the Theatre at Hunstanton which we were looking forward to. Managed to get a full refund, but gutted we missed the show. Fully recovered now and off to the Camping Club site at Kessingland soon. Rather enjoying these local trips!

Another great video! Such a shame you’ve both fell ill. If you get chance could you do a review of your Sportage (unless you’ve done one already) we’re looking at changing to one and I would appreciate your opinion. We tow a 4 berth that is 1497 when loaded. Rest up and stay safe 😀🥂🍾👍🏽

Exactly what happened to us same symptoms after 2 days when we were in caister on sea still had it for 2 weeks after 5 hour journey back

Just going through your recent videos l love watching them , but so sorry you're both poorly with covid-19 but it's still out there you know. I got a text to go get top up jab omicron one because apparently lm vulnerable) l've never had covid-19 OMG!! lve been 🤒 totally wiped out ill , shivering then 🔥red hot, sweating ,stomach pains , aching limbs headache dry mouth, delirious in sleep l've never had symptoms like that since food poisoning. So take care you two love watching you guys ❤️ x

Sorry to hear about the covid, hope you both feel better soon. We dodged it for 2 years and then a few weeks ago we had it. On another vein that bird of prey, did it make a whistling sound, if so it was a Buzzard.
