@@kinsmed “Pete has the verve and fresh material *as* new comedians do.” Perhaps you meant to say “Pete has the verve and fresh material *that* new comedians do.” That would convey the message that he’s not a new comedian but you wouldn’t know it from his approach; the wording you used implies with the as is that he’s a new comedian and that’s why he’s excited to be up on stage.

My hearing aids Bluetooth to everything, and they have this feature where you can either hear only from in front of you, only to the left of you, only to the right of you, or only behind you so you could spy on people

We vegan, once I was in a bar, I asked for a salad 'with no meat whatsoever please', guy replied, 'Sure, I have this one with chicken. Chicken isnt meat, right?'. He was serious, not taking a p***. Serious.

Had someone who claimed to be vegan tell me fish wasn't meat. He could not be convinced otherwise... "Look, fish swim around. Plants grow in the ground." But he just kept repeating... "But fish aren't meat..."

That's so great. I've been vegan for a better part of 20 years. My mother, who is a wonderful, accommodating cook, still says, (and maybe hears the word as?), "vagan." 😆 When my dear kitties were alive they loved to follow me in the bathroom; they probably knew it was annoyed me. Maybe Pete's blowin' up the bathroom too much for them.

If I want to leave the house I have to have my cats surgically removed from my person. If you raised your dog or your child like you raise your cat they would be aloof. You determine your relationship with your critters.
