Synopsis :

baffles me how they thought the parademons shown here with razor teeth and glowing goggles and monster noises were just fine for kids in the theater yet somehow the original GAINT spikey-armored version of Steppenwolf first seen in BvS ultimate cut was somehow too scary for kids?! lol

It's very possible to do a comic accurate version of the comic, or 90's Kevin Conroy, to the big screen. But with all the executives and producers wanting to be safe. We won't have it for awhile. In my opinion, batman arkham city is the best revision of the 90's cartoon.. and tim Burton batman made Gotham the place I remember

I really like Batfleck. He’s awesome. The suit is arguably the most comic accurate, and the fight scenes are awesome too, especially when he incorporates both hand to hand combat with his gadgets.

@@ryantheanimator1156 1. In some old cultures, one side would sometimes leave a warning for the enemy, even if the enemy doesn't know what the warning means. Not only that, in this case, for the warning, even if humanity would know what it means, they would somehow bring the boxes together or awaken each one. Which would be a type of reverse psychology. 2. The Parademon self-destructed so the enemy would not be able to figure out anything about it's biology and therefore fight it properly. 3. Batman knew that they were attracted to fear because the theatrical version doesn't take place almost immediately after Batman v Superman, which means Batman probably had seen them before and studied them from a distance before he decided he wanted to try and capture one. 4. Being attracted by fear and motivated by fear are two different things. Being attracted means they are able to scout out victims more easily, they are not motivated, being fear's the only thing they can sense and won't attack if there's no fear, as they had no problem attacking the League who had no fear and had no problem with restraining themselves from killing the hostages. Though I will give you the ending with them attacking Steppenwolf was indeed stupid as they threw out attraction to fear and just combined the two solely as a way to get rid of Steppenwolf.

I'm in the process of making my Justice League supercut, combining scenes from both versions of Justice League to be my canon version of the movie. For example, there's a scene in ZSJL where Mera hints at her parents being dead, which doesn't like up in Aquaman where her parents are alive, so I'll replace that line with the one from JWJL where she just says that her parents were away in a war. I'll be keeping this opening scene with Batman but it'll be moved further into the movie, I just can't decide whether I should have it before Bruce meets with Diana about the Mother Boxes (if so I'll have to try to cut out the scene with Alfred talking about the 3 symbols) or sometime before Bruce meets Barry, since he's still working alone at this point. Wish me luck, chief

I actually like this scene except where the thief hops into camera view and starts chatting casually with Batman. Outside of that, using the thief as bait, then the tussle with the scout and interaction with Alfred - all a good setup for Bruce's trip into the boonies.

This was such a bad scene. For starters, it looked like cheap tv series. Really a Whedon scene by the look of it. Buffy quality. Also, Batman gets shot at several times. And then later chit chats with the same guy. Who also nails it at once by saying that there is an army coming from space. Always fan of the Batfleck, but also this scene doesn’t do him justice. So glad we are getting a Snyder cut.

Maybe not good enough in terms of choreohraphy, fight sequence and especially in depicting how Batman would act or react, yeah. But visually, holy shit, visually this is one of the best depictions of Gotham and Batman I've seen, scenery and atmosphere wise. Kind of Arkham Asylum or Injustice brought to film. And that's cool.

Batman scene is another completely useless addition from whedon, as shown in the Snydercut. Batman knows/believes an attack is coming from what Luthor told him. And he goes to recruit the team. That's it, that's how the movie starts, with him in Iceland looking for Arthur. There was never any indication that Luthor made a bunch of convenient notes about the motherboxes and parademons including what sound frequency attracts them. It was a crappy shortcut. He learns all that he needs to know from Diana who is a logical source of that information. And even as a cool opening Batman scene, to me it feels cheap, like a fan-made love letter to the 90s with the random burglar dropping his bag full of loot as Batman watches and eventually lets him get away with it.

The conversation itself was good to build the scope and context of a world without Superman but it definitely shouldn't have come from a criminal, especially one whom Batman bizzarly still allows free to move? Would have made more sense if the conversation came from a Gotham City police officer instead.

It’s such a crime that we never received an Affleck Batman solo film. Everything about Affleck’s Batman was great. This scene, Batman fighting crime in Gotham, totally reminds me of the Arkham video game universe. I would’ve preferred an Affleck solo film over the new The Batman movie, regardless of how good that movie is.

I dont understand why n how people hate this Batman he is the best Batman ever in live action movie his suits are best his body his fighting skills everything was da best n its da most comic accurate Batman ever.... The fight scene in BVS was also da best Batman fight ever in movies its fkk up that Ben Affleck doesn't even get 1 solo movie as he deserves it n we da fans of DC need it too...

Actually, that scene of Batman reminds me a lot of his first scene in Justice League War, it's one of those scenes that I wish had been kept in the Snyder Cut.
