If he wanted to become a country star, pop singing sensation, astronaut, navy seal, pro athlete or famous politician, than I'm sure he'd prolly figure out a way to do it. He actually wanted to perform R&B, he talks about it in his book. He's from Memphis so he actually has R&B background, he always acknowledge that, but someone in the production (I think) thought a country number was fit.
