I remember myself and my twin boys watching this amazing man on PBS back in the day. He knew his food & the stories he told was out of this world & sometimes very funny. RIP Mr Wilson.🙏

I used to watch this man back in the day. Every Saturday morning on PBS, I'd catch him, the late Paul Prudhomme, and the late Jeff Smith. I liked the younger version of Martin Yan too.

A few little cherry tomatoes on the top of this look so pretty and taste good too! Also, I substitute sweet pickles for the dill in this salad as a preference. Loved this man and owe my love of interest in cooking now to him and his humor

Just look at that shiny new Magnalite pot on the stove. Would do anything to get my hands on one of those in 2021.

He also had a big cast aluminium pot about half the height of a dutch oven with a lid that would cost a pretty penny today. Great for big stovetop one pot dinners. 👍

You're doing a huge disservice to the show cutting it down to 8 minutes and change. The conversations and stuff is part of the whole experience... maybe it's just me. Still looks delicious too, just like the whole episodes.
