My grandparents also got engaged in the barn And when they made that Barn into a home right exactly where they were engaged there was a metal like 3 ft by 3 ft placard made with our last name and the year all of us began and granddad put that big metal round family name thing and the Date and year thing right in that spot where granddad had proposed to my nana❤ My uncle lives in the old barn home. And every year at Thanksgiving we all gather around that beautiful name plate all six generations of us🎉❤ And all down through the years each generation here's the story. I think it would be really cool if you guys had something like that made and then sat right there in that floor.

Happy Anniversary! My husband and I waited a long time before we had kids too (married at 23, started trying at 27, finally had our first at 30) but it really was a good thing. We had been through so much at that point that we best knew how to support each other. I really think that if the clock isn't against you most folks would benefit from waiting to start trying, just get to know one another on that deeper level, have experiences you can then share with your kids when they come along =)
