I agree a lot with what you said! They're literally just two characters going through opposite situations, and to add on, with Sam as their common ground. Robby's just so buried in all the bad things that's happened to him, but he truly wants to change for the better. However, it's because of his bad life that makes it so difficult for him. That's why I really hope Robby gets a redemption arc eventually.

Exactly, he felt humiliated and really pissed off at that moment and considering he fought blinded with those emotions in between and ended on the floor with Miguel over him right after those words you said. The whole situation was a pitty. I still like both characters, Miguel and Robbie. I used to like Sam, not so much at this point and Tory...idk, but i really like the acting and the script.

Well Robbie was taunting Miguel saying he took advantage of Sam, which he didn’t🤦🏾‍♀️ He’s still mad at Miguel of stuff that he’s apologized for. And making Miguel seem like the bad guy when Sam is the one who kissed him in the first place, which he would have known if he didn’t assume and talked to Sam. He definitely had some pent up anger that he’s been waiting to get out towards Miguel.

From another adult point of view its the adults fault very clearly. Namely Johnny and Larusso. They are the adults and still couldn't behave like ones and give a good example and kept fueling these kids rivalry. I'm have been in a dojo, you get combative and tribal but its the way your sensei does things that makes it toxic or a healthy rivalry. They are all kids. They could've learned to deal with their conflicts many ways, they learned the way their parents and mentors taught them. Tory is a kid with a sick mom and who has to provide herself for her mom and siblings. She is angry, sees her Doja as her family, he is the one who taught them no mercy which made her react to her bf cheating on her with violance. In the end the Tory and Sam fight could've been stopped by the school staff. But it turned into a whole school brawl bc of the way these kids rivalry got not only left unchecked but encouraged and turned sour way back. Lastly the school being responsible for the escalating fight is ridiculous. Parents like to do that, ''its the school fault !'' like how about you control your offspring ? Parent are supposed to raise them not the school. That's lazy parenting finding excuses at it's finest. The valley has had dojo's since multiple decades and this never happened, it makes no sense to think it would happen, and to have enough security to stop 2 dozen of trained kids fighting at once. Again security or teachers could've stopped Tory and Sam. The way their mentors taught them made the girls fight into a dojo against Dojo's fight. Teachers are not required, nor insured nor should they take on risks to themselves to be assaulted by their students. Especially not in a country where there's no universal healthcare and medical bills can go up to 7 figures. Sorry
