I didnt know dolphin skin was a thing but after years and eyars of crusty, matte skin/makeup I LOOOOOOOVE a balmy, hydrated (but not sweaty looking) look. Considering that most people's skin issues are due to lack of hydration/needing to repair/maintain their moisture barrier, we should be keeping dolphin skin forever

My son is mixed (white, black & Native American) He was so disappointed that he didn't get freckles and curly hair like his dad and half sisters. So he puts freckles on with makeup. His skin is more like mine and I do not freckle. I think it's such an odd trend but fully support people embracing their natural freckles and skin.

A lot of these I definitely don’t see as 2021 trends. Some things NEVER go away. Buzz cuts for example. My opinion on buzz cuts is that it doesn’t go in and out of style. It’s always there, but it’s usually confined to women in their late teens/early to mid twenties. It’s like a finding yourself/coming into your own. And also kind of a “if not now, then when?” situation.
@themaggattack

Right? If a young lady rocks a buzz cut, everyone assumes she's hip and cool. But if a middle aged woman rocks a buzz cut everyone just thinks she's on chemo.

Looove you Jonathan!!! I still remember when I got a (sort of) wolf cut, I was 13😂, then I let my hair grow and it slowly morphed into The Rachel, but with two thick light blonde (yellowish) strands in the front (rest was natural dark brown) that were supposed to be highligts hahaha!

Applause for you be liking the buzz cut, yeyyyyyyy!!!!!❤❤❤ Really chill me up since the fact I’m having this hairdo for almost 4 years and bearing all the gazes from the people where I currently live ( you’ve been here as well!), where it’s yet not really common a woman to have buzz cut and people really care about others appearance, yes it’s annoying. But thanks for your word I feel like I’ve got a courage to keep having this style which I also love even if the people stares me in 2022 as well, who cares!!😎

I don't think I've seen Jonathan since watching season one of Queer Eye whenever that was... (yes, I live under a rock). Can I just say Jonathan has a sense of inner peace now and it's making me so happy. Usually Hollywood does the opposite but damn... good for u.

JVN you are so CUTE hitting the age of “oh crap mom wasn’t lying about fashion” but honey I’m in my 50s now and my head has spun all the way around like three times already. 🤣 (Srsly I wish you could have met my mom, she was SO chic without even trying; wool suit with a pillbox hat on her wedding day hot!!!)

Lol I love that you know that obscure ANTM reference!!! That was from Cycle 8 episode 6 where British fashion icon judge Twiggy had the remaining models create a Supermodel name that the public will remember them like Melrose did when she auditioned for Cycle 7 and the girl who chose her supermodel self name as “Nayien” was that season’s villain Renee and man that scene where she’s trying to promote herself and her new name with Benny Medina was 😬😳😆also remember Natasha and her literal pillow talk phone call with her husband and Renee is wtf am I watching?!

So happy to find your channel. I loved watching you on Queer Eye. I am also from Quincy IL I was in the first class to graduate from the new High School in 1974. Some things were better back then and some things not. I've been in TX for the past 27 years and some things are better here but some things are not. Love your energy.
