My Setup 4 Impact® golf method makes it easier to hit any golf shot. Simply setting up on your impact plane and then swinging on one single plane makes the game easier. I customize the simple concept to fit each individual golfer regardless of age, flexibility, and natural ability. I will help you improve faster than any other way. I have worked over 35 years in developing this simple golf swing method which can help anybody play better golf quickly. Many do better their next time out. Because it is easier to repeat it is also easier on the body. Putting less stress on the back, hips, and knees.

ABOUT KIRK JUNGE
-----------------------
Kirk Junge began playing golf at the age of 5. After a successful Junior Golf career, Kirk turned professional in 1986. He has played on the Dakotas Tour, the Teardrop Tour, the South Florida PGA and the SouthWest Ohio PGA where he captured one victory.
More recently Kirk played tournament golf again for the first time in almost 20 years in 2021 where he finished second in the Senior division in the United States Golf Teachers Cup in Las Vegas, NV. There were Golf teaching professionals from around the USA playing in this competition which took place in 30 to 40 MPH winds. Kirk competed again in 2022 and again finished second with rounds of 69, and 73.
In the year 1996, Kirk began to teach the golf swing of Moe Norman, and shortly thereafter taught with the Natural Golf Corporation, where he stayed until 2005. During that time he was one of the top instructors and was responsible for answering over 3000 golf technique questions on the Natural Golf forum. He was a licensed instructor with the Graves Golf Academy from 2014 to 2016. Kirk also holds several other certifications with the United States Golf Teachers Federation, the World Golf Teachers Federation, and is a former PGA of Europe member.
After leaving Natural Golf, Kirk headed to Pforzheim, Germany where he ran his own Golf Academy until 2014.
In 2005, Kirk set his sights on creating a simpler golf swing, which led to the creation of Setup 4 Impact Golf. Using his 20+ years of golf instruction experience and his knowledge of the many different golf methods. Kirk has distilled golf knowledge from some of the best golf instructors in the world to create the Setup 4 Impact golf swing. His instructors included the likes of Wild Bill Melhorn, Jimmy Ballard, Terry Crouch, Artie McNickle, Chuck Hogan and Dave Pelz, and many more.
Kirk’s main goal is to help golfers improve their game as quickly as possible.

The Setup 4 Impact golf method can be fully customized to fit your own personal needs without the need for special golf clubs.
Kirk has taught golf for 35 years now. He has taught various golf methods including for Natural Golf Corporation, Single Axis golf, and the Graves Golf Academy. Kirk invented the Minimalist golf swing method which had you setup and swing on a single plane, which has evolved into his currently taught Setup 4 Impact swing which is the Ultimate golf swing because it is built to fit every golfer regardless of shape, size, age, or ability. The Setup4Impact golf swing very closely resembles the swing of Bryson DeChambeau who also sets up on his impact plane. Kirk's number one goal is to help you improve at golf.
Kirk Junge currently teaches his "Setup 4 Impact" swing full-time in West Palm Beach, Florida year round, as well as Cincinnati, Ohio, Reading, PA, and Sanford, NC a couple times per year. Other locations coming soon including California. More info at setup4impact.c...

My first thought watching his swing was that it is a mashup of Bryson & Moe. Watching his downswing it looks like he studied Moe and took his his ‘vertical drop’ comments to the max because of his 6’8” height. Only a real athlete could consistently repeat his swing well enough to qualify for the Open… good on him!

Without the almost one foot drop he would completely miss the ball. He needs to compensate for being so far away from the ball, like Moe did as well. It would be some much easier for him to just stand closer.

After watching Brian Harman use a very strong lead hand grip with a neutral trailing hand grip, I tried it with Kirk's swing. I shot 76, and it was easy. Thanks Kirk!

I've never seen a player more severely handicapped by the club length restrictions as this guy

At some point he's going to have to work with somebody on eliminating a good part of that head drop and get less moving parts to his swing. There's a ton of timing going on to make that swing work right now. He might give up a few MPH of clubhead speed but he still would be one of the longest players out there.

I think he's close to both set-up for impact AND the flaw that cost Will Zalatoris this season. That side bend is bad for the back isn't it?

I have not seen a good face on shot of him yet, so am not sure about side bend. Some side bend is necessary, but together with the change in spine angle is concerning.

I've read that due to the rules his driver is only 46" which is to short for him at 6'8". With the irons it looks less severe...

@@Setup4Impact if his irons are two inches longer then that explains why my iron at six foot two with a wrist to floor of 37-in standard and not longer. Sometimes in golf shops, the people try to tell me that I should go longer simply because I'm tall without thinking about the length of my arms. I also think that your swing is more upright.

How about Steve Stricker?

@Setup4Impact Жыл бұрын
From what I have seen Stricker is not set up on his impact plane, but is quite close.

I agree Kirk, Steve does not strictly start setup for impact, but with his single piece take away his club position gets equivalent to the single plane swing you advocate, probably within the first foot or so of his backswing. From his initial set up, to the time his club shaft is on the same plane as his trail arm is incredibly quick. His swing can be seen here (kzfaq.info/get/bejne/nbVyictoy-DdiqM.html). At my age If, if I were going to try and emulate any pro’s full swing once I was set up, It would be his.

@@OMG-2 Thanks for posting the link. Those videos are excellent! I try to set up closer to the impact plane but really like Stricker's takeaway and swing plane. I think he has an ideal swing for a senior golfer. I'm 66 with a 4.5 GHIN and just want to emulate that swing.

Stricker best Wedge game since Miller. Perfection Literally can’t improve upon it. It’s called: No Hands No Wrist’s Lockjaw Simple Simplicity

@@ozten-fj6pe Stricker is up there, but it is pretty hard for anyone to compete with Phil for he titel of Best Wedge Play. His last PGA Tour Major win, the Championship at age 51, is a perfect example of his skill and creativity. I started to think he was missing greens so he didn"t have to hit a long putt because he was more comfortable with a 60 degree in his hands. You might argue Tiger but Tiger's approach was usually so spot on he rarely needed to hit the kind of shots Phil HAD to routinely play - a fun discussion though.
