Ok some facts both Kamal Haasan and Prabhu Deva have been Dance Choreographers in their career, so no wonder they were ease in dancing along. Both these actors also have learnt Bharathanatyam and are good at it. This movie is a comedy movie and this song has great comic sense and no wonder you both kept laughing through the song even if u dint understand the language. I’m sure u will keep getting surprised by the skills of Kamal Haasan as and when u keep learning abt him. He is a jack of all trades and has also mastered them. Cheers

@Smart It Is mohanlal have the title name Complete actor. But kamalhassan is the most complete actor in india in my view. Because mohanlal is poor in handling languages and slangs. And mohanlal lacks mannerism roles. But i see that Mammooty is excellent in slangs and manerism roles. Maada and vidheyan some of the best mammooty's mannerism roles. Kamalhassan is the only actor who can handle mostly all kind of roles. Thats why i call Kamalhassan a complete actor. Ee paranja njanum oru malayaalee thanne aane.

Some additional info. It was sung by Kamal Hassan and Kamal Hassan is a multi-talented person that he is known for singing, amazing acting skills, and his dancing skills. So no wonder he can match Prabhu Deva here. The perfect dance combo in my opinion from Tamil Industry.

FYI, Kamalhaasan and Prabhu Deva's father Sundram, a choreographer are old friends. When Prabhu Deva, as a teenager showed interest in dance, it was Kamal who helped Prabhu Deva attend some dance schools in the USA. Incidentally, for this song, the dance was choreographed by Mr Raguram, another old friend of Kamalhaasan. I'm sure you know that Kamalhaasan is a trained classical dancer and worked as an assistant choreographer in many movies in the early 70s.

A scene from Quinton Tarantino's Kill Bill series had been inspired from a movie named 'Aalavandhan' starring Kamal Hassan who wrote the script as well as taken care on screenplay. 2. The only person to do 10 roles in a movie 'Dasavatharam'. 3. Totally 176 awards for Kamal, most by any actor. 4. Excelled in all departments... Actor, Singer, Dancer, Screenplay writer, Story writing, Dance Choreographer, Stunt Choreographer, much more... He's simply 🔥🙌

The song was composed, NOT BY A R RAHMAN, but by Karthik Raja. The movie was Kathala Kathala, a romantic comedy written by Kamalhaasan and released in 1998. The dances were not choreographed by PrabhuDeva

You have to explore each facet of Kamal Haasan like you explore the whole body of work of other actors/filmmakers. I mean his each facet has a body of work. Kamal as Actor, Kamal as Director, Kamal as Screen Writer, Kamal as Singer, Kamal as Lyricist and so on. He is a university. And you guys have begun to only scratch the surface of an himalayan iceberg. But I am happy you began. It will be the most fascinating thing in Indian cinema I assure you guys. :)

Tamil songs are so enteentertaining. Full of fun. Kamal Hassan was so good looking and still is. Prabu Deva is at his best all the time.
