This is what Im designing. Automotive dash lights. Day time..switch is on LED on switch is on, load is on. Headlamps turned on led in switch is dim and when button is pressed LED is brite and load is on.

I only want the led to switch on and off with the button. No load. Whats the simple wiring for that? I'm hooking 10 of these up together and just want the leds to light when pressed.

I'm trying to wire one of these right now and still a bit confused. I'm replacing a switch on a 12v device that has +, -, and o wire feeding into the on/off button housing. The switch I purchased has a NC, NO, common, and 2 led wires. I got it to work but just want to make sure its safe how i wired it. I'd be willing to pay someone to help me get this working.

I have a 7 wire toggle switch. (Daier Tek RGB led toggle switch ) wiring instruction suck. It's for a led whip. white is common-blk is sw normal open- orange sw normal closed-yellow=led common red+ B+ green +. please help. he said the kit is for a OPTI 70 or OPT 7. I will get more info if needed

The last example i.e Fan on / Light off etc, would work great for a high / low beam, via a relay, for headlights.

I want to wire my switch to break a ground connection. I want the switch light on when I break the circuit, and off when the circuit is open.

Excellent tutorial, thank God I found it after watching video after video of mumbled incoherrent ramblings from people who probably knew themselves what they were explaining but didn't have the ability to put it in to an understandable format (despite thinking that they did).

I am using this switch to turn on a soldering fume extractor fan that is dual-powered (12v DC brick or 3x 18650 rechargeable lithium batteries) utilizing a low-voltage disconnect circuit that prevents the batteries from being drained too low.
