Their best song in my opinion. Didn't get enough recognition
@ajs412 жыл бұрын
It spent a number of weeks at number 7 in the charts, which is pretty good, but it was up against very stiff competition at the time such as Sweet Dreams by Eurythmics, Beat It by Billie Jean, Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler, Let's Dance by David Bowie, etc.

The world has been changing for the bad ever since touchscreen phones appeared. But I still do have hope that there are some young people like me who still enjoy this era of music and prefer live music over computer-made with overly auto tuned singing

Shame they are all grown up and have moved on. I think they were better than the boy bands my daughter followed and even the Beatles, who no one forgets. But I had never heard of these guys until someone on Facebook posted a link to The Neverending Story and I saw Limahl. Then I started googling. So glad I did.

Thanx for uploading!! I'm a 47 yrs old guy and remember well I was such a big fan of these guys and their music when I was 12-13 at the begin of the 80s. To be fair, from a today's point of view the costumes and hairstyles a bit ridiculous but hey! Thats were the 80s. ;-) But their music is still great. Skilled and very musically. This was probably the best time in my life as a kid and I'm happy to grew up in that time.

I am 51 and completely agree with your comments, it's a shame that they didn't last longer as their last single as Kaja "Shouldn't Do That" only made No. 63 in 1985 and was a good track, but seemed to be the end for them.

Obviously well appreciated by fans of Bass guitar but in the overall sense they don't get mentioned much. Nicks bass playing in this Track is something else. A great great bass player and this is coming from an old skool Punk of the start of the scene. I admire great players of instruments. Great Track
