If it makes you feel any better, I was born in 1984 and I've always felt robbed myself. I only have the slightest vaguest memories (thanks to all the home movies my parents took) and before I could even grasp what was going on, the decade was already over. I still wonder how much more fun my childhood would've been if I had been born even 5 years sooner.

Well said! I was born in 80 and can remember just enough to say for certain that living in the 80’s was like walking on the sun without getting burned. Remember the connectedness, the fun the pure bliss of just being alive. I know it’s strange but even colors seemed brighter and more vibrant. Beautiful days.
