My first experiencing the Death Railway to Namtok and it was a special one, the scenery and also seeing first hand the hardships the POW's must of went through to build the railway is something i can highly recommend if you visit Kanchanaburi.
I was joined by my good friend Norman to set off on the journey. While on the train we met a couple who are subscribers to my channel, Martin and Linda were lovely and we had a great day with them.

I did that journey back in 2015. Going over the Wang Pho Viaduct was something else. Amazing experience and a beautiful place 🇹🇭

I think someone fell from that train taking photos a few weeks back which I'm guessing is why the conductors kept telling you to keep off the steps.

Thank you Greg, it’s great to be back mate. Yes a lot of people got off at karase cave so they would have got the same train returning. Also on the return there was a lot of tours that got off to go to hell fire pass which was a couple of stops from Namtok.

Have you done the Maeklong Railway Market run Richie ? 2 trains 1ferry and a market to visit/use. Stay there for 1 night or come back the same day.
