Hello everyone!!
Thanks for joining me today!
Well, here it is... the 3 hair dryer demonstration! As you can see, I had no issues blowing the paint with ANY hair dryer... why you ask? Because it has nothing to do with the hair dryer and everything to do with the paint consistency!
So, that being said, get to know your hair dryer.... if it's a powerful one you might need it on low speed. Less powerful, put it on high speed. The angle of how you hold the hair dryer also plays a role. Hold it higher up or holder it lower to the canvas. These are all things you need to practice in order to get the results you want. However, as I said the KEY here is - PAINT CONSISTENCY :)
Check out my video #63 to learn how I mix my paints.
I hope this video was helpful for you all.

If testing a dryer it seems like the same colors should be used. That would be taking a variable out of the equation. Nonetheless, I enjoyed the video. Thank you for being willing to give your time to teach 💜.

This was helpful. The first time I used a hairdryer I blew almost all the paint off canvas on to my wall. I’m standing there like the twilight one or something.i put a plastic tablecloth up on my wall after that. You jus have to practice-experiment to learn. It’s so fun. I love your work and Tammys’s and bunch of ithers

That was great to see the differences in dryers. The most powerful one looked so smooth when you used it. It looked easier for some reason. I did like the first one, the colours are great and I was gobsmacked at the amount of cells. They certainly made the painting look amazing , But No3 is my favourite by far. Poor wee No2. Bless. 😔 Love from Scotland Sandra xx

The middle one looks like a butterfly. Oh, I get all my hair dryers at yard sales for 50 cents or a dollar. Ooh, the last one is pretty. Those colors are great together maybe even with a pop of pink or purple with it too. I can’t wait to see the magnets video. Looking forward to your next videos. I hope everyone is staying healthy and safe where you are. ❤️ Have a good day! Thank You 😊

I had to go back and watch everything a couple of times and it didn’t seem to be a big difference in the distance Of the dryer but the position you were holding it. I have decided this is my problem but find I’m having a hard time just relaxing and allowing it to happen!! Thank you so so much for the experiment as it sure does demonstrate it’s the artist, the positioning, and just relaxing and allowing the dryer to do it’s job. Your work is amazing to say the very least!

the second dryer has a shorter tube, the third has a longer tube (the part where the air comes out). That does make a difference also. Also my dryer I use is over 30 yrs old (Vidal Sassoon Quiet 1600 - bought in high school - just had a 30 yr reunion lol) and I lost the concentrator years ago so made my own with tape and cardboard and it works good for me.

Thank you for the experiment. This video was so helpful. I started to do acrylic pour recently and had a hard time with hair dryer. The hair dryer I bought for Dutch pour was too powerful and could not control. Now I have been trying to get one with a weak power with a temperature setting (don't know why but I thought cool air is a must) and after I looked this video, I learned that the power and cold or hot air don't matter.
