he gave a performance of his life.... usually actors gives their star performance with serious, dark or melo roles.... like method acting type....but this one has its own identity and charm. Its just fits him best, its like the role only made for him!!!

You are so cute so is the Dongbaek couple. Gong hyo jin is an excellent actress. She is Amazing.. Kang ha neul also did well his character as country bumpkin policeman, Hwang Yong Shik. I dont think i can ever find such a cute couple in the korean drama. They are really cute as couple. Omg i have been watching this drama countless time. I just love these 2 CUTIE PIES😊😘🤗

This drama is undoubtedly one of the year's best and the scene exemplifies why this is. The simplicity in this courtship belies the depth of connection between the couple. She gets him and he gets her. See how she quietly slips her hand to grasp his to allay his fears and frustration. While he prattles on about the unfairness of his being in competition, she takes his hand and kisses it. The unspoken assurance speaks volumes. This is why she is loved by everyone, not just him. It's a pity that the ex couldn't see that in the past.

Truly happy for Kang Ha Neul as a male lead. Always rooted for him back then. Not watching this drama (hopefully when I have free time), but I can tell with certainty it features one of the best noona romances in K-dramaland. Thanks also in huge part to the charm of RomCom queen Kong Hyo Jin.

I rarely recommend and watch kdrama but this one is worth watching. The lessons you will learn and the values it will instill. Besides I think Kong Hyo Jin and Kang Ha Neul chemistry is ❤️. Hope to see them again together. ❤️

@@gks9149 Sorry dysfunctional is the wrong adjective - they are not abusive, they just have trouble relating sometimes, but they have healthy disagreements that can be overcome and they do have a sense of comradeship on the core values of the sense of family, something seen if many family comedy/dramas. They are very relate-able and love-able group of people, that make them even more precious when viewing.

Harrison Davis ok that’s better as a psychologist major that was a bit uncomfortable because dysfunctional families are often abusive with kids being neglected and turning out to have mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, substance abuse, anger management issues etc. Some people may see this comment as a way of you praising abusive family dynamics and others would think dysfunctional has another meaning... I apologise if I offended.

I really love this kind of kdrama. It really has the Reply series. It has a lot of lessons about family, parent-children relationship, peer relations, your own romantic relationship, and etc. It got all. Plus the fact that the location is in the countryside, no fancy buildings, the casts are all GOOOD, no fancy dresses and all (and I find this kind of drama refreshing) ❤️

I re-watching this drama for second time and I still thinking that both are really perfect for each other. Kang Ha Neul still be charming, funny and so sensitive, I really love his portrayal of the character. I'm really proud of him for his recent award ❤ He is a nice guy and deserves more lead roles...

It takes 2 to make a cute and sweetest couple.I believe if either actor/actress replaced by someone else, the couple wont be so cute as them. They are both meant to be YONG SIK AND DONGBAEK. The script writer made a wise choice to choose Ghj as Dongbaek and whoever chose KHN as Yong Sik had made a good choice 2.. This Dongbaek couple is the BEST ever .🤗
