Күн бұрынKanva dam is constructed across Kanva river. It is easily accessible and the reservoir is a beautiful, tranquil place. It is perfect for a long drive from Bengaluru. The grasslands around the reservoir are a bird watcher's paradise. You will find the cows and goats grazing peacefully, fish jumping in and out of water and birds chirping around cheerfully.

It is an open public location. There are no gates or anything. So you can go there anytime.

@@sumzisah yeah I took my 18 month old twice. We took our own mat and sat on that. It got quite hot in the afternoon for a couple of hours. The shores and grasslands are very safe. But Do not get into the water, there are many poisonous insects there. The locals also warned us not to get inside, even though they bathe there regularly. My husband got a really painful spider bite in the water.
