Man, this takes me back. I remember all of these conditioning exercises, the weighted jumpropes, punch drills while holding free weights, good times.

Yea lol I'm tryna work up to doing a full splits In just a couple weeks or so
@hamadalhussain128610 жыл бұрын
That should NOT stop you from training. there is much more in martial arts than just doing splits. Also Kyokushin mainly depends on low kicks. Low kicks are much stronger than high kicks. You are also less likely to lose balance when low kicking. High kicks are only effective because they hit the head and face. Dont let that be a an issue. OSU!

@cutthatcity All they really have here is a burlap bag, sand, and an apparatus to hang it from. With a little creativity and a trip to the hardware & military store, you can make your own. There are places who sell sandbags, which may be manufactured to last longer, but they get real expensive.

Nice exercises, but wotuhout ppreparation (wearm-ups) and purpopse. In my experience, having spent over 30 years of Karate training, are best suited for after training, or extra trainikng of strenghtening onň s body, basically for any kind of martial arts. Best regards Paul.

@hardyinc To build up your flexibility in your legs to do a split does not take 20 years....I trained in Tae Kwon do and it took me about 4-6 months to actually do a full split...
@Patriot138914 жыл бұрын
Our trainer if we couldnt spret our legs (180c) and touch the ground.just come behind you and sit on your back..Man that was pain,screaming and you will do it...That was 15 years ago,I treined Kyoku foe 3 years and I had to stop..I teach something for 3 years,everything is possible and theres no thing you cant do,pain is killing but you will eventually do what you need to do!That makes Kyoku unikue,pain pasts eventualy and your body becomes a machine for things you only dreamed of before!

Don't be discouraged by my observation, but admittedly, I think training by yourself and traveling to japan to practice Karate is not very realistic, and you're probably not planning things well enough. However, if you do have everything covered, I advise training in Okinawa. Watch the documentary "Human Weapon: Karate". It features a great dojo there, perhaps It'll pick your interest. All the best :)

you find the basic training on the internet. and it dosent realy matter if you are in the dojo or at home the only thing that matters is the amount of work you put into it. work hard. and you will see results. by the way, please do train when you are drunk for maximum results. :)))
