Cobra Kai started the fight and Robby attacked Hawk for defending himself so Miguel had every reason not to trust Robby. The only reason that Johnny was acting "sane" was because it involved his son.

The part the got me was that, despite Chozen warning Daniel about Terry’s tactics, he STILL just walks into Terry’s traps like a dummy. Also, the misunderstandings that the teens have are completely believable, because teenagers as a rule really ARE that self-absorbed. I know I was 😄 The empathy and self-actualization comes from maturity; it’s why Moon is the outlier, because she really does have a lot more maturity than a lot of the other characters.

The funny thing is Amanda and Daniel are both right. In a sane world what Amanda is saying is correct, but Terry Silver is a cartoonish supervillain who is after Daniel so he's correct too 😂

I agree that Daniel should have restrained himself but at the same time, Amanda should have been more understanding as well. People often say that Amanda is the voice of reason but there are several moments throughout the show when Amanda herself loses her temper and lashes out at Daniel, overlooking or failing to understand what Daniel has been through as a teenager. Your spouse is one of those close persons in your life who should be understandable on these issues. I think one of Amanda's biggest failings is that she refuses to see how traumas can affect a person's life even later on.

She's literally god-mode Karen. Honestly, I can't stand her, like seriously bro. Look at Robby's mom, Carmen, Ali, Rosa and the other senior female characters of this show. None of them throw temper tantrums the way Amanda Larusso does. It's clear that she was sort of like Tory in her youth and I say she's lucky to find a mild-mannered husband like Daniel. Daniel never misbehaved with her as far as the audience knows. Even my father shouts at my mother whenever my mother lashes out at him for no reason, unlike Daniel.

@@AaronQuinn-v4w After her experience with Kreese, she should at least now be aware of what Cobra Kai really is. Back in Season 2, when Daniel warned her about Kreese, she turned a deaf ear to that and learnt her mistake way too late during the later episodes of Season 3. So when Daniel appealingly tried to warn about Silver, Amanda should have believed her husband instead of believing the man against whom her husband is speaking, no ? On her part, it shows she really hasn't matured at all throughout these 5 seasons and keeps blaming everything on 'stupid rivalry' while in reality things are deeper than stupid rivalry which she failed to see.

Teri is about 5 tiers above daniel at mind games. It’s bizarre. Daniel doesn’t trust him at all and knows not to believe anything Teri says. But then he himself believes things Teri says to him lol

"Whoever is heavier" I'm not entirely sure that's how it works. The more weight the more gravity is gonna pull you down too and more speed you'll gain (like the difference between a feather and a metal ball). I think it's more related to volume; if you are bigger, your weight is gonna be more distributed and that's gonna stop you from being faster. So, I'd say the one who has the higher chance of winning is someone who's relatively small in height and with tone muscles (because muscles weight more than fat with less volume). And also someone who has control over every inch of their body, since if you stay still and are not changing your weight from one place to another, it will be easier for gravity to pull you down.

Daniel was never this hot tempered in the movies. This is the one aspect the show gets wrong from the movies. Daniel had a little bit of a temper, but never this badly. In the show he gets angry over everything. It was never the case in the movies. Heck, I don't even recall him ever being angry at Chozen in karate kid 2. And his anger in the movie was pretty justified. Or you lack up to teenage impulsiveness, which is normal.

Downward momentum is not solely dependent upon weight. There is also drag and friction. There are ways to go down a water slide that can reduce drag and friction, which would allow you to move at a greater velocity.

Try watching Terrace House. It's a Japanese reality show about very young, attractive, Japanese singles living together. Very surprising how well the work things out thru talking and not letting things simmer or escalate. Surprisingly, very entertaining

The bonsai are beginner bonsai, or 'mallsai' 😄. They really should have made an effort to authentically represent bonsai and learn proper pruning techniques. It could have helped the story too.

I think Miguel is a bit jealous of Robbie because of Johnny... he sees him as a father figure but every time he expressed it directly, Johnny mentioned Robbie or brought Robbie with him, so Miguel is insecure...

Worse, he never would've made it into Cobra Kai if it wasn't for Robby. He was way too soft, and Robby helped get him in. He owes Robby, not Cobra Kai. Robby was the one that helped him. Yeah, I really am not like Kenny anymore, with how hostile he was to Robby. So unjustified. He'd still be getting picked on if it wasn't for Robby.

Feel like Johnny should take back Cobra Kai. People like Silver and Kreese will always take over and be a bad influence to these kids. It's not the Dojo itself but the sensei that runs it. Cobra Kai should be a place where kids learn to stand up for themselves and be more assertive whereas Miyagi do should be for those who are too aggressive and get into fights easily.

You expect Miguel to "talk things out" with the guy who put him in a coma and bragged about it? Let's also not forget that Robby attacked Hawk for defending himself when the former knew that Kenny started the fight despite the fact that he claimed that he was out of Cobra Kai. You can't claim to be done with a group of thugs and back them up whenever they start fights.

4:10 I think that qualifies as talking it out. Robbie gave his sermon and Kenny gave why he is staying. Lets even exclude the fact Robbie is literally the one who brought Kenny to Cobra Kai in the first place for a moment, Robby blaming Cobra Kai for attacking Kenny in the tournament is so cringe and nonsense. He didn't even cheat and wasn't told to cheat either. Kenny is basically saying he didn't want Robby to take it easy on him and instantly forgave him for it. The complete opposite of what happened with Robby and Miguel in the finals of the first tournament where Robby accuses him of fighting dirty. I am on Kenny's side on this one because it wasn't Cobra Kai that was picking on him it was Miyagi Do and Eagle Fang students picking on him when this started. Kenny has every reason to stay with Cobra Kai and negative reason to go to the other dojos.

This was probably the weakest episode of the season, but all that's saying is that from here on out it just gets better. And hey, even though it's the weakest episode, that's not to say I wasn't devastated with Amanda’s justifiable decision at the end.

In Karate kid, Daniel was young and without clear direction, it made sense that he would be strong headed but in Cobra Kai he is around 50 how can he not have matured at all, he keeps making the same mistakes over and over like he is stupid... It looks like he keeps imitating his sensei but he does not act accordingly and he does not understand. :)

This is were the victim becomes the bully thanks to cobra kai. Now Anthony really is the victim like he lied to his father about. Anthony already got in trouble for his bullying. Ambushing them in library and him in locker was not necessary but can be expected from cobra kai training. Attacking at water park takes it too far.

Daniel's wife is one of the most insufferable, unlikable characters I've ever seen. She didn't even want to try to understand. She just wanted him to shut up and do as he was told. She was so concerned with playing large and in charge that it never even dawned on her that she had no legitimate reason to think the things she was thinking in the first place.
