Easy fix showing what to do if your Karcher FJ6 foam cannon is not producing much foam. If your karcher foam cannon is not working properly you can easily restore its foaming ability with this simple fix. The Karcher FJ6 foam nozzle can become blocked and stop the foam solution being pulled up into the water flow if you don't clean it after use. This video shows how to use a citric acid solution to clean and unblock the nozzle.

You can also full a bucket only with water, and without the bottle (only with the tube) can use your pressure washer to pump the clear water to rinse the gun, after every foam use

Yes, I agree. That is the best way to keep the nozzle clean. If you do this every time you use the foam cannon, it will not get blocked.

Hi I have just bought a sleekax snow foam gun suitable for karcher k2 but only produces foam wen bottle is upside down hv you any advice I'm using autoglym polar blast snow foam

The detergent should be pulled up by the partial vacuum caused by the water flow through the nozzle. If the foam flows into the nozzle when it is upside down then this indicates that the nozzle is not blocked but you probably have an air leak. The first thing I would check is that the suction hose is attached securely to the nozzle and not damaged. Check also that the tank is screwed tightly onto the nozzle.

Am I using this foam cannon incorrectly? Or is it pretty crappie, I pretty much have to run around the car before the container empties it just empties the reservoir in about 2 minutes

The FJ6 has a smaller tank than most foam cannons but you should still be able to get around your car easily enough. The snow foam you use will make a difference. You can turn the dial down with thicker foams and the detergent in the tank will last longer. I find that autoglym polar blast normally produces the thickest foam.

Wth I’ve tried various shampoos mine never created thick foam, even when brand new. I thought the product was just bad. What is your concentration? Do you leave empty space of fill it all the way?

This video kzfaq.info/get/bejne/eJOIa5Selby1oX0.html from 1:30 shows the snow foam, concentration and how full the fj6 is when I use it. To increase the foam thickness you can increase the concentration of the snow foam. I find that AutoGlym Polar Blast gives the thickest foam.

My foam gun doesn’t even spray water when connected and it creates a lot of pressure in the hose. How to Fix it?. Without the foam Gun the pressure washer works perfectly fine

You nozzle must be totally blocked if you can't even get water through it. Unlike most foam cannons, I don't think you can't strip this model down to clean each part so you could try repeating the method shown in the video. Good luck.

@@bigtedshome I've got the same problem. It used to work and I naïvely didn't rinse it after using it. Will give this a try before splashing out (no pun intended!) on a new - but perhaps different brand - one. Thanks for uploading!

I've not tried salt. You need to use something that will break down the solidified foam which is blocking the nozzle. Vinegar is acidic and should work like the citric acid or you could just try hot water.
