This literally just happened to me, I can say it’s does work 👍

You have to question how a leading pressure washer company can have such a crap system for linking a hose.

I had the same problem, how I fixed it :- 1 I got a pair of pliers and straightened the clip legs and then squeezed/bent the clip legs closer together nearly touching each other. 2 then I inserted the high-pressure hose back into the pressure washer and then fitted the spring clip fully. 3 I then put a cable tie onto the end of the clip legs TIGHT. That sorted the problem out. Note, you will have to remove the cable tie to remove the hose . The washer had only been used three times from new, a redesign is needed to the retaining clip. A better mechanical locking device is needed in my view.

Different make to mine but helped me see what was going wrong, fixed with two small pins! no idea where the original clip for mine has gone.

Yes this worked for me too. These Karcher pressure washers are not as good as they're cracked up to be. Mine is just over 12 months old and only see occasional domestic usage.

I have this issue but it doesn't seal too well still. Bubbles continue to appear around the C clip and the machine keeps having to pressure up again

I need to know how to release the HP tube from the Karcher C4 with C type clips its not so easy as they show you in the Karcher show room especially in the winter in England !

Makes no sense push the clip in fully and it does not work, have it hanging out and it does !

Push it straight in and put a plastic cable tie around the open ends and pull it tight. Looks like you would end up loosing the clip that way.

A real backward step in design! My old k2 has push fit hydraulic type connector, just needs a squirt of wd40 now and again.
