I remember Karl having a Facebook page back in 2014. He’d post something on there and people write “play a record” in the comments. I noticed he stopped posting after that.

Still love Karl! If you're a fan you missed his cameo as the copper recently in ‘the thief, his wife and the Canoe’ he was genuinely good. Was pleasantly surprised. The whole show was good too! But seeing him call ‘bullshit’ made it all worthwhile. Would never have guessed from these days he’d ever be able to act. Miles better than in Derek. Displayed some actual nuance...

I've literally mixed up Danny Wallace and Stephen Merchant because of their similar voices. I heard Danny Wallace's voice in Assassin's Creed and saw Stephen Merchant in a movie. I thought they were the same person for years after that. And here I am, more than a decade later, listening to Karl Pilkington talking to Danny and thinking: "Is he talking to Stephen?"

there's so much Karl stuff that has been removed over the years. I haven't heard him talk about Snow White and the 7 dwarves in close to 8 years. I think it's sad that people like Danny Wallace consider Twitter "friends" to be like having your own "army". And when he says "I don't think society is for you." to Karl at the end, it seems society also isn't for Wallace - hence the reason he's spending his time in the virtual world, rather than, you know, in real society. Karl's philosophy about only needing around 7 close mates is rooted much more in real life!
