Ban him for the rest of the season and all of the first split next season, so it's a 9 or 10 month ban, but don't permaban him. We want people to be better, and casting them out forever won't achieve that. We need to encourage them to improve themselves.

I honestly really like the idea of this season’s qualifier, I like how cutthroat it is and it gives many players/teams to have a real opportunity to play in the main event, but it can definitely be improved upon. Top 8 teams should not be playing every day of qualifiers cause of what has happened to SR, Dig, KC and others, but I do think they should be playing to qualify still. And a swiss qualifier wouldn’t do justice imo cause it takes too long and it’ll be a closed qualifier essentially like last season’s

For Nwpo, the people on the call with him were instigating, provoking him on purpose. Basically trying to get him to say something out of line to get him cancelled and banned. Imo, this behaviour is even worse then what Nwpo said. I don't agree nor condone what Nwpo said. However, he's literally a teenager and this is literally his job, of course he's prideful and won't take any bullshit from others. Also have to take into account what is regarded as acceptable remarks in Saudi Arabia (I've never been to the Middle East, just trying to put myself in his shoes to judge the situation fairly.). I did read online that in the Middle East, there are issues with "Problem kids", that might be a bad influence for him at school or just straight up his family is racist could be the case as well. I agree with Rule One for wanting to dissociate with Nwpo and release the roster. As an org you definitely do not want the ones representing your name to be racist, sexist, etc. What needed to be done was to simply leave the call when you're starting to get annoyed and frustrated by them. Of course they would've teased Nwpo to no end because he got mad at their "tomfoolery". "It was just a prank bro.". But it would've been a better outcome for sure. As for his future, everyone makes mistakes. What matters is how you respond to these mistakes. I really dont think Nwpo's career should be over because of this. Idk what he said or the severity of it, but if Joe Biden can be openly racist during his early political years, and still become president. Then Nwpo should be able to play rocket league while being represented by an org.

While i don't like the idea of auto qualifying because i feel the open qualifier makes teams be consistent, a potential solution could be that the top X teams auto qualify to like the top 32 or top 64 to avoid the burnout of having to play so many matches every qualifier. Then, the best performing teams will be able to rest more and also play less series, so losing would be much more their own responsibility.

I think multiple layers of rules for players moving regions would work for example: 1. Rank the regions based on performance at lans, and you’re not allowed to move down a certain amount of ranks but you can move higher as much as you want 2. If the first rule is not respected then you apply 2/3rds rule Or a residency rule that doesn’t allow players to move to a region way below their rank if they haven’t lived there for a certain amount of time (this one is not as good as 2/3rds for second layer though)

I don't get the hand holding of multiple LAN and Major winners to teams who can barely qualify. The glazing of "top teams" is wild. People want to give these teams as many chances as possible when on the other hand these teams who are approaching this format knowing they have a small chance to beat a team like freaking KC are actually doing the work and winning. Yes KC are better than those two other teams they lost to but they showed up on the day. Not getting paid, not having a place to boot camp, not having the backing of the org and won. Let's celebrate those teams and stop diminishing their accomplishments because the fan favorite didn't make it.

I’m sorry, I agree in the fact about the format being bad, and it should be Swiss stage, and kc was probably extremely nervous in the lower bracket. However, the fact that johnnyboi said that the 16-32 range of NA was way worse than EU is insanity, the teams in the final round of both regions are very comparable, and I watched the kc and top cougars series and Kc was absolutely abysmal, and top cougars really didn’t even play that well at all really. To say teams like young whipper snappers, incorrect, deleted XD are way worse than teams like suhh and top cougars is extreme coping for the EU region and is disgraceful, top cougars would be a 16-32 team in NA and you can’t prove me otherwise, the top 16 teams in NA r very solid, and so is EU, but Johnnyboi always gotta take shots cuz he mad that the EU one seed is out

OCE players got banned for less by Epic than nwpos. It wasn't the word that was said, it's all of the statements. I think the ssa thing is helping that region improve way more than them making a major and getting destroyed does. The ssa region is finally playing solid eu teams, even though they have high ping. These players from Europe etc. know that they are taking away opportunities from a region which has significantly less support and opportunities than in Europe. They know what they are doing and it says a lot about their character. The rules need to change to stop this, you could not do this in an international sporting event. Absolutely hate the idea of franchising! I think it's terrible for the esport and the orgs as well. Franchising often means barely anyone knows who the orgs actually are (you just have some name like Seoul Dynasty). It gives such minimal reason to follow an org rather than players, even more so than now. The promotion and relegation just means you have gate keeping which taints the notion of it being 'the best'. Overwatch did this and it turned out a heap of the best players were in that second league but were sitting there waiting for a top player to pick them. No need for franchising, just have 8 auto qual for main event, that is enough.

I don't like rules for some and not all. Certain words in the US are offensive but also used as common labels. At one point I was banned from rocket league repeatedly for nearly a year, I'd type a word in a lobby after everyone left and get auto-banned for harassment. As a protest. I would open a ticket and simply ask why am I banned WHO am I harassing... myself?!?! I lost a few friends in-game over my absolute refusal to let it go. It's dumb. It's against my American values and if you don't understand the importance of dying on that hill, you aren't paying attention to the world. I got banned for saying something like, "One of my favorite comedian's is Richard Pryor and one of his albums is called That N***er's Crazy" There is no offense. It's absolutely stupid to be banned.
