There might not be as many today but you should check out Snarky Puppy (esp their song Lingus We Like It Here the live video) and Animals As Leaders. There are some others too but they are a good place to start. Rock on!

James O'Connor she is an incredible talent. Amazing to play any of Keith's pieces, much less being blind. Truly a gift from God.

Not only does it not suck, it's the best cover I have ever heard of any band. I've heard many mediocre covers of Zep, Yes, and others, but when it comes to ELP, those cover bands can't handle it. Thank God for these musicians and may all be blessed !

So let me guess - you are well practiced at understatement. Doesn't suck, indeed.

Lake was and is one of rock/prog's most underrated bassists...

I know he obviously wasn't singing during that part, but his playing during the 2nd half of Fugue (the frantic half lol) is quite astonishing.

Lake was the epitome of cool. He was so smooth and his vocal delivery was effortless.

Greg Lake was insanely blessed... singing like an angel, playing the bass frantic as a possesed.

Human brains have not yet evolved enough to comprehend the genius of ELP's music.

The fact that they STILL have not been inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame is just absolutely insane. I've renamed it the rock and roll hall of SHAME as in "SHAME ON THEM FOR KEEPING ELP OUT !!!!

"The Rock Press" as Douglas Adam's would say "would be the first against the wall when the Revolution comes". The first time I ever read a copy of "Rolling Stone" the dork spewed on about how "Dark Side of the Moon" was "cheesy" I threw the filthy rag in the trash and never touched that shitty rag again!

My grandad went to royal college of music and he said you always know a good piece of music if you can listen to it and each time hear something different. So while he was teaching piano upstairs where we lived. Downstairs where we lived I was playing this on turntable. Before that, while still a small boy I watched Oscar Petersen on black and white TV in the 60s...so I had a good grounding of music everyone laughed at us ELP record buyers they thought we were odd. But here we are listening to these musicians of all ages who were inspired by the music that all brought us here... RIP Keith and Greg.. And my Grandad. Piano player and organist.

Good music is timeless. It is as good today as it was when it was conceived, composed and performed!

I have always divided the world of music into two categories: THE BEATLES, and EVERYONE ELSE. At the very top of EVERYONE ELSE stand Emerson, Lake and Palmer. Together, those seven guys were my "foster parents," shepherding me through some of the toughest times of my life. Rachel makes me cry every time she plays ELP - shecmight be the only person who appreciates Emerson's genius compositions more than I do. I don't think that Keith believed himself to be half the genius the world believes him to have been. His departure was no less tragic than John Lennon's - both of which plus Greg's - just crushed my soul. Thank you, Rachel and friends for letting me know that I have not been suffering alone - that I am not crazy for loving this music so profoundly

Have to mention George's early and unfortunate departure. More tears whenever I rewatch any part of Concert for George.

Rachel actually nails that guitar solo better than the original. On the studio ELP version, Greg Lake makes a tiny flub on the solo which made it through to the final version. Rachel fixed that!
