This is not much of an upset, we know Karolina Muchova can compete with the best on tour, it is just a matter of time she moves into the top 10 baring no injury. She is just got so much gift and sometimes she played the wrong shots at the wrong time. But she is such smart thinker, talking about risk taking and point construction she has it all. Touch, power, placement. Muchova is the one on WTA tour playing the game with almost Federer like elegance. She is a real gem.

The overall level has increased so much that you never know who's going to win when the top 30, even 50, face each other. These two players going so far at the French Open was not a surprise.

On the women's tour no player in the upper ranking has a more fluid and classically beautiful style than Muchova. Almost every shot in her repertoire is an example in how tennis should be played, groundstrokes, groundstroke swings, serve, and volleys. I wish she could go a step further in the US Open than she did at RG where maybe her physical fitness for playing a long, grinding match fell a bit short.

This is a high level matchup for a 1st rounder. I would think these 2 would be pretty close, Karolina is a top 15ish player as well. Ya don't like seeing a player with the shoulder tape though. Hopefully that doesn't get to irritated. Compliments to both ladies.

So pleased that Muchova could get the better of BHM. Was gutted when she lost to Swiatek in a tightly-contested match at the Canadian Open. Next up: Petra Martic. Don't know who to root for, because I like both players.

A verdade é que a Bia precisa melhorar muito pra competir em pé de igualdade com as melhores do mundo. Está lenta na quadra. Suas devoluções são fracas e muito previsíveis. Precisa ser mais agressiva e mais rápida.

First, why is this commentator consistently mispronouncing Muchova's name? Second, Muchova is a dangerous player against anybody, but this the worst I've ever seen Hadad Maia play. She was corpse-like in her movement, and was almost totally outplayed. Congrats to Mucho!

9 years of using methamphetamine (crystal meth?) allegedly with this sports anchor. Interestinglyn, the woman he was assigned to call this match, back in 2019/2018 (before COVID) made allegations against him. Not sure what it was. And I still pressed submit. Of course it's a load of garbage. i'm 35 and I should not be doing these things. Who the hell am to speak of these things. I am sorry. It's not genuine because it's online. But I feel horrible that I still pressed

@@jqbkno, it's the letter "ch" not "h". It's pronounced the same as German "ch" (chemie, achtung) or Dutch "g" (like Gogh, groeten). It is more like "Mukhovah" sound between k and h.

Ela é eliminada até no jogo de biribinha não passa da terceira rodada quando chega pq perde no primeiro ou no segundo e os emocionados se apegam em ela está entre as 20 ter ganhado uma vez da IGA e agora por ter sido semifinalista não olham as eliminações frequentes é uma jogadora meia boca o mais engraçado é ver ela no desespero quando tá prestes a ser eliminada só falta desmaiar

Para de ser vira lata cara. Bia é talentosa, na minha opinião tem que mudar de técnico, variar as jogadas, principalmente as subidas de rede. Acompanho a bia e ano passado ela nem rankiada era e esse ano foi top 10. Ela tem tênis para ganhar Wta ou Grand Slam, mas como disse tem que mudar algo.
