Welcome to our channel travel junkie, in today's video we will be taking you on tour to yet another temple , which is Kasar devi temple , which is a famous temple in Almora and is about 50 Kms from mukteshwar and driving time of around 2 hours, since there is no teain station or airport in Almora, one has to rely on road transport and bus to reach here, We are on our way to almora from Mukteshwar and on our journey we got to see some beautiful scenic spots and this place is well known for natural beauty and many people come here to enjoy it
so finally we are at the steps that lead to the temple, we have to park our car here and move on steps and before we move forward lets take a look around this beautiful place and also friends don't forget to subscribe to our channel, we need to walk a lot and try taking break in between as this is on height , people may face difficulty in breathing, so here we are finally at the doorstep of temple and here you can read the history of temple, this temple dates back to 2nd century and is dedicated to goddess kasar devi, this temple gained prominence in 1890 after vivekananda visited this and did meditatation for breife time, just the the greenery and trees,it is mostly covered with pine trees and here you can reaad some information about spritual practices done by vivekananda during his stay here
lets move forward and here first we can see the kasar devi temple and at the top is the temple dedicated to lord shiva, so we need to still climb a bit to reach the Lord shiva temple, so chalo bhagwan ka naam leke aage bade, so finally here at Lord shiva's temple, it is quite clean and has beautiful surrounding and if you want to spend some peaceful time , you cannot find any better place than this, and I am going to spend so peace ful time here nad leave you on this not will meet you in next video, tab tak ke liye aapse vida leti hun bye bye
