I’m upset with how this was handled. The relationship coach should’ve immediately brought in a therapist to do an emergency session and they should’ve connected her with resources. Simply telling someone what to do does NOT work. Telling a victim of abuse what to do does not solve the issue. They will still feel powerless and more likely to go back to the abuser. A clinical professional understands this, and would work with her to empower her, give her a voice. An emergency session would’ve been a good start.

I really truly love the therapist and I watch a lot of the shows so I think that she does help tremendously in a lot of situations, but for me, I think she should’ve mentioned that in front of him that should’ve been a private conversation she had with just the young lady

The way he put his hands over the girl’s leg…he was trying to hold her back. No therapist in real life would ask in front of the abuser. That puts the victim in danger!

@@Queen-of-the-Burbsand that’s the thing…she’s not a therapist she identifies as a relationship expert. and I agree! she put that girl deeper into his control but putting him on notice to the fact that the young girl told what was going on. Tracy should have talked to her, discussed a plan moving forward for this girl to get away from him without him knowing what was up! however, unfortunately…nothing really changes until the abusee’ is ready to leave…Tracy and the girl’s family could see…she wasn’t ready to leave him… It should be a federal law that relations with someone more than 10 years apart (I wanna say 4 years but…anyway lol) is NOT permitted no matter how old both people are…one person could be 81 and the other person 70…ILLEGAL! CANT DO IT! 😆 I’m so serious thou…this situation in this episode…is far more common that it ever should be…😮💨
