He was “separated” but never divorced his wife. And she took whatever scraps she got from him. He bedded many Hollywood stars. She gave up everything , a marriage, children for a cheat she cant even say loved her. She was a doormat. I remember growing up, their relationship was praised…

She was an extremely talented person and actress and proved it many times.

Just because someone wasn't your cup of tea or preferred style doesn't mean they aren't talented. I'm not a fan of Van Gogh's work at all but obviously he had talent as his work still endures today. Katharine had her own style of acting and she herself said she was not a character actor but she was VERY talented. Just like Bette there won't ever be another like her. They were both very unique in their own ways.
