How does the 90° piece work? I was gifted a Kato N scale one and I'm trying to work it with a figure 8 with switches for an oval. Do I need more than 1 powered rail?

A very nice video and layout. I have the same 90-degree crossing in my layout plans, though it's set at more of a diagonal (sort of like a figure 8).

Can I please ask where you get your Kato tracks from because I am trying to replace my tracks with Kato in HO scale and it’s super hard to find so can you please help

For me I typically buy Kato stuff from Model Trains Plus or Plaza Japan, though sometimes I get them at local hobby shops. However, I've noticed that Kato products in the US are more expensive, even on the official Kato USA store, I don't know if the same goes for Australia as well, but in my experience; it's much cheaper to buy from Japan.

They are easily derailable too. They are supposed to be in the back of the train. But they aren't always. Also they are called "centerbeam flatcars"

I you built a figure 8 using the 90-degree cross track, would you need two feeder tracks to power each loop or does thee 90-degree cross track supply power to the opposite side of both directions? Thanks. Great video.
