I love this guy so much 360 degrees, I can watch him spin around on a stand for hours in any pose. Yeah, it's a bit of a bummer he doesn't have more back leg movement but i'll trade that for the new hip designs any day, the way the front hips move with the front bend of the leg makes the bended knee poses so much nicer. And I whole heartedly agree with the plastic/nylon for Hound. I love the matte finish on him, so much so that I gave him a faction symbol sticker but had to take it off because it seemed too glossy for me.

Agreed, completely. Most times I don't add a faction logo. I like the clean look most of the time

Magic Square makes some insanely articulated + detailed bots, given their size; very tempting. I’ve heard a lot of comments about their soft plastic so I do wonder how well they’ll hold up over time, though.

So far, my Magic Square stuff holds up fine. I actually like their plastic, in most cases

@@KatosKollection Definitely a series that grabs my attention. I feel like I’d have bought into them if I found out about them a lot sooner… $30-40ish is a pretty reasonable price point. You know how it is with 3P overseas companies. Get them when they’re released or you’ll probably lose out; as far as I can tell there aren’t too many MS figs in stock with US sellers, let alone even currently being listed. 🤷‍♂️

Their plastic is a nylon material and is extremely tough, a lot tougher than ABS. You can apply a lot of force without fearing the material breaking. There should be no problems for them to hold up for a long time. In fact the material is the reason why MS is able to put so many small and thin parts into their figures, had they used more brittle materials like ABS I am 100% sure that things will break or show stress marks the first moment you start to transform.

Actually, a diaclone figure doesn't look too bad in the driver's seat! I thought he'd be way too small but he actually looks good!

Thanks for the review. I appreciate seeing this figure. the shoulders seem a bit low and out a little far, Looks kinda strange to me. The alt mode looks good.

@@KatosKollection Yeah, I did google that after I posted and saw that it is really toon accurate. maybe to a fault like FT Rig. G1 toon proportions are really goofy sometimes. I only have Siege hound so I guess I was just used the broader shoulders on that figure.
