Awesome review Kato. I was on the fence about getting this figure as I have an Iron Factory Mirage, but just placed my order after watching your review. The engineering on these figures is mind blowing.

Legends are soooo nice. I wish they didn't have removable hands tho. This is a pretty good-looking mirage!

I'm really impressed with Magic Square. That gummy like plastic is intriguing. If I wasn't so heavily invested in the WFC stuff/Scale I'd be collecting all the MS stuff! So far, the only Magic Square figure I have atm is their take on Cosmos. UFO. He fits in well with WFC scale. Though soon, he will be replaced with the Velocitron Cosmos. That said, I'm still keeping the MS one because it looks so good!

I’ll be damned, Mirage’s face and rib cage _were_ light blue. I continue to be impressed by these Magic Square Transformers; the amount of engineering, articulation and detail they cram into these super tiny figures is… well, magic. Wish I’d found out about them early on! It’d be cool to have a collection but I don’t want to pay exorbitant after market prices.

Mandela effect is right. It looks so impressive but I can’t dig the powder blue I need a that metallic/chrome. Give it to me.

He makes me way to scared to transform him to be honest, he's plenty solid in either mode - but some of those tabs and levers arms are minuscule. The only real negative I can say is that the weapon storage in vehicle mode kinda doesn't work out of the box and some of the visible pins are a little distracting. But other than that he looks a heck of a lot like the Super 7 figure only with joints and it transforms too. So much so that in robot mode I get almost an Action Master vibe from him. He's actually more eeeeek inducing than Ironhide and Ratchet and they are already a bit crazy - this guy is perhaps the most difficult Legends class figure I own. I hope they do a shiny deco or toy colour one too though not only as some might like the Baby Blue gone - but having two means I don't have to transform him ever again. So in that respect he fails. The end result is great the process to get there though is nightmarish.

@@KatosKollection Is there anything else they make that is even more bonkers that this - I already thought Ratchet/Ironhide were pretty nuts - none of their older stuff I have is this crazy. I still have Optimus 2.0 to open and play with though and he looks a little kooky. Mirage is much more complex than Jazz or Prowl though I feel.

@@KatosKollection OK, Not got any legends Constucticons yet from the better makers. Just the various KO like ones derived from Hulkie. I just got Xeta Toys Superitron completed he's not to horrific though.

I tested it out too, just to support because I'm a huge MS fan. They've been super communicative via email. I was worried at first about the carrier they were using but it actually got to me faster than anything I've ordered from anyone before. I'm chalking it up to fluke though and will compare it to the next time. Either way, it was a very positive experience. And shadowmaster has become my favourite.
