Hey great video only thing is the 165 you are working on is only made from 1986-1988. The first Hydro John Deere put in a lawn mower was 1984 and it was a 430. Just so if you got to find parts you get the right parts

Never seen that kind of magnet points I think your flywheel key is shered a bit..well I guess you got her that's all it was was dirt build up on the inside magneto..

Well the ignitor must be good u got spark mine absolutely none I changed the coil I'm pretty sure the ignitor module is out can't find anything on it

Theres a difference between a Kohler moter and a Kawasaki there both good engines and that's either a 12,,12half or 14 horsepower there pretty good.
