With fishing still closed on our side of Vancouver Island, Canada. I loaded up the Old Town Sportsman Pdl 120 fishing kayak, for a 250 mile round trip to the West Coast. For a day of Kayak Fishing in an area that never disappoints!

Thanks! If we're heading out anywhere around the lighthouse or towards black Rock we launch from Little Beach, if we're heading towards Beg Island, then we launch from Alder Park. Both spots are super easy launches with lots of parking. Thanks for watching! 🙌

Great video. I'm debating between the 106 and 120 sportsman. I'd prefer the 106 due to size/storage. I don't go out any rougher than that. Would the 106 hold up?

The hull width and shape on the 106 is the same as the 120, so it should be able to handle anything that the 120 can. We chose the 120s for the higher weight capacity and larger storage areas, but you should have no issues in the 106. Thanks for watching! 🙌
