I grew up south of there. So many folks have died in FLs spring cave systems over the years… just viewing your shot of looking down into that hole gave me the creeps. There’s one in Crystal River that’s claimed so many divers the state installed bars at its entrance. Your vids bring back my time exploring the same places in the 1970s & 80s. It’s so beautiful. You’re an interesting guide & I’m enjoying your videos. Onward!

I used to go there 1 week a year when in my teens.. so much fun. Me and the people I was with swam that exact hole. I was nervous too. When my younger brother did it I did too. You are exactly right though if to much trepidation don't do it. Thank you for this video. So many great memories:)

I love those central Florida springs! I went scuba diving at KP Hole park and love it more than diving in salt water. The springs are Florida's secret gems.

From a European here: Digestives are referring to (as you might have have understood) actual digestion of the stomach. It was made in the UK long ago to help aid digestion as they are packed with fibre. Since then they have been made with chocolate too, as yours. A little less healthy, but really good :) 👋

I grew up going to the Homosassa River for spring break. Back then, Homosassa Springs was a privately owned attraction, not a state park. There are a number of rivers in FL you can canoe camp on. I've done that on the Blackwater and Coldwater Rivers near Penasacola, and on the Ecofina River near Panama City: I enjoyed the 3 day trip on the Blackwater River the best.

Chazz is my favorite kayaking because it's old florida, I live 10min so frequent it a lot. There are spots no one gets to because its such a long paddle.

I drive through Homosassa and Homosassa Springs all the time delivering Polaris off-road vehicles. US-19 is my favorite road I travel! From Perry Florida south has the most interesting places that I want to visit. So cool..😊

Great video and variety! Homossassa Springs Park is one of my favorite places. I always take the boat, too! Family also took us canoeing on the Chazz and we watched people cave diving. Very Cool, except for the jerk who was bullying his young son to do it. I felt bad for the little kid. Thanks for sharing. B and B looked sweet too.

Wow! I didn't know you were from Arkansas. Have you hiked the Ouachita Trail yet?!? I came down from New York state and we hiked it in 2021. It had the best constructed shelters of any trail I've ever been on. And the trail was very well maintained! 223 miles. You got to do it!

I have been to Homosassa with my Dad back around the 90's ? We saw the Manatees and got to see a rear bird called a Swallow- Tailed Kite ❤ You gave me a larger tour of the area. Thanks ! I very much enjoyed your tour 😊 P.S. The Flamingos were AWESOME ! 🥰🥰🥰
