im not sure if this is healthy in the long run for the actors, even if it brings out their absolute best. At what cost? Its not lasting

I think it's quite the contrary; those who need to be coddled all the time will not last. The musical industry is brutal so certain level of thick-skin is a must to exist in this job. The director gives frank and helpful guidance; keeps actors on their toes to avoid complacency. Also people spend their money at musicals expecting quality so the director has to run a tight ship and produce a polished product.

I agree I also think the reason she's so strict with things is because she has high expectations and KNOWS that they are talented enough to meet her expectations.

Changsub was literally shaking 😂I've never seen him look so nervous. I teared up watching him breathe so heavily , he looks very tired 🥺

@@1994elori I guess it was shot like 3 -4 months ago because this musical started in Jan and they had their last show for this musical on March 6 if I m not wrong !but yeah they were preparing for their online concert in jan . Plus he had other schedules as well. N now they're doing kingdom .He hardly got any time to rest .but he's taking a break these days because he's not well🥺

ChangSub is doing great and learn so much, my melody heart is so proud. This is his first historic musical so the learning curve is to be expected. It might seem heartbreaking to see him suffer but he will end up gaining so much more as a musical actor from learning under such high profile director. Looking forward to see him shine as a respected musical actor. Mochi fighting 💙💪

It is out of topic but I love the background musics in this clip ❤️ The background music where Changsub make mistake (5:55) is called Der Erlkonig which is one of the hardest music composition for violin

Actually it's not even the CEO's mistake if the play will not be presented properly its a waste and she is training them really well. Training them lineantly is actually of no use cause they won't be concentrated and serious.. Also dancing and singing in masks is pretty tough and seeing Changsuba here working so hard makes me proud and a bit sad but he will do his best and I known that. Fighting!!!

I am glad watching this that I was only on stage twice and worked in costuming and makeup mostly. If I had to sing in front of her I would have melted. I admire the perfection she is trying to achieve.

Me sorprende que ella ejerza dominación psicológica en sus empleados y sea emitido en la TV como si fuese correcto. Por eso los actores cometían errores, por estar mentalmente estresados a causa de ella, ella lo sabe y aún así les recalca el error, eso al final generan traumas y problemas de autoestima. Recuerdo leer por trabajo personas que aún tienen problemas con su voz al cantar, perdieron su confianza, o miedo a entrar a una habitación con un mentor. Ella sabe que está mal su reacción, por eso manda a otra persona a que aliente a los actores. La vdd se me hizo super grosera, ningún jefe tiene el derecho de ejercer algún tipo de dominación o violencia.
