It's a long week in the shop. Time to work one the Suzuki XL7 as well as the 2008 Ford F250 Louis ViTen. After getting some work done it's time to screw around a little in snow storm that hit the pacific northwest. Good times. Sometimes it doesn't go as planned though.

Great entertainment ! It's amazing how when a TV network or producer make a car show , It's filled with fake drama and heavy edits. Here we have a regular car type guy taking us along on real world repairs and fab work. No tool throwing or drama , yet i was disappointed when it ended . Thanks for sharing Dave !

Don't let those shocks get you down. Great video as always, even with the technical difficulties. I like that you show the road blocks you hit in your projects, makes you more relatable. There will always be the one bolt or missing part or whatever complication that arises in any build and it can be discouraging, but you got this! Your Dave Chappelle, leader of the Dirtheads!

I used to work on automatic car wash from 1998 to 2009 in the Chicago area and what I've done when the weather changes is lubricate ALL locking mechanisms and spray lubricant into a towel and wipe down ALL the rubber door seals. Once I did that I didn't have trouble getting into my truck/van and that's washing the truck/van 2 to 5 times a day depending on how many stops I had to make.

Bummer on the Shock not coming apart like you thought that they should. I'm kind of surprised that you can't take that top spring collar off the other end of the body. I know, that's a lot of turning of that collar, just wondering about it. You know a whole lot more about it than I do.

If you don't put a block heater in Louis Vten, those heated sticky bads for diesel trucks work great on the transmission and engine oil Pan. babe

I’m still old school with air tools 90% of the time. Reason being they don’t spark so you can work around dangerous materials. When you get a chance look up why dentists use air tools.

Dave - did you not like the Patagonias? Ive had 2 sets of 37’s. On one set, the outer wall shredded, on the other set, they have been the best for the last 4 years. Mixed emotions. I’m a huge fan of BFG KO2. Just curious. Cool hoody BTW.

They aren’t my favorite. I’ve never had bad luck with them though. I really like the Maxxis Razr and they are getting old. Felt like running the tread down on them instead of
The new Bronco, and the best suspension I have found.
