A lot of foreigners show how shallow and small hearted they are and embarass themselves You might be getting less views, but you're traveling India, the right way, no poverty porn, not dehumanising cultures, experiencing different states, that's Good karma, In the end, you're traveling with the one you love, creating memories, that's all that counts, god bless

best structures in India are all older than 800 years before the Islamic rule. in North India they are mostly destroyed but in South India there are plenty specially in Tamilnadu. North Indian architecture is nothing not even close to ancient South Indian temples.

ancient India used to have lot of excellent architectures better than this one. during Islamic rule in India especially in Mughal period about 47000 temples and several other structures were destroyed. others were demolished by the European rulers. that's why India hardly has any ancient structures left in North India. however there are quite a lot of them in South India especially states of Karnataka and Tamilnadu.

Taj Mahal is overrated. for best of Indian architecture please visit some of these- Kailasa temple at Ellora caves in Sambhaji Nagar Brihadeeswara temple in Thanjavur Chennakeshava Temple, Belur Jain Temple in Ranakpur The Hampi Temple Complex In Karnataka Hoysaleshwara Temple in Halebeedu, Karnataka Ramanathaswamy Temple in Rameshwaram Meenakshi temple madurai Khajuraho Group Of Monuments In Madhya Pradesh Sun Temple in Konark
