I admire Kelly as a surfer but I appreciate his approach to life even more. He seems really focused on living a happy, healthy life, both mentally and physically. And he's humble enough to accept help from others. He's setting a good example for young athletes.

It’s not that simple, look at how many times John john got hurt when he was even younger. Just almost any sports at that world class level raises your risk of injury. But yeah this is pretty interesting for an outerknown commercial

Thank you for this docuseries" format, you now have the ability to go deeper into a story than ever before. The element that most viewers tend to gravitate toward when it comes to documentaries is the essence of real life. There's an unmistakable feeling of intimacy, of being let into a Mr Slater’s brain for a quick flash , in using snippets of the real world, in a variety of forms. 👑 Mr Slater I give you my homage 🙏🏽. Keep up the good work team and I look forward to watching the remaining series.

nah no high profile athlete is aware of FAR better modalities towards musculoskeletal issues which is fuking embarassing to say the least... you've got rolfing/hellerwork, osteopathy, deep tissue-myofascial release, even naturopathy and emotional release tech to name a few which trumps most of what physios, chiros, massage related professions (even surgeons) offer... seriously, its like the level of naivety is unbelievable in a world of google and hyperconnectivity the world over

😈😈😈 ph normal within your internal biosphere 😈😈😈 some of this young guns are striving for sucess hamering the face and doing deep carves into the face of the waves but thankfully style and grace with tricks still play a major role in judging .... instead of going like a bull at the gate , as they do ... power is nothing without flare and some grace ...... i remeber when you started out , nyou would completely destroy a 10 to 15 foot wave ..... so it actually lost most of its stand up movement and power ! They said kelly slater is a man who has no respect for a wave ..... classic hey ! No one except that Hawaiian surfer could do such damage to a waves by way of deterioration of its flow .....😈😈😈😈 ya mate rambles on a bit !
