Bekele procede de las tierras altas de Etiopía, de donde han salido algunos de los mejores corredores de larga distancia del mundo. Su gran modelo a seguir fue Haile Gebrselassie, dominador de las largas distancias en la década de los 90, de quien se ha convertido en sucesor e incluso ha superado sus logros en la pista.

I love the amateur runner in the red shirt at 4:35 ...imagine running a race and getting passed by Kenenisa Bekele in full flight. The man understands that he's witnessing one of the greatest runners alive, and he's filled with awe and joy. Awesome.

Certainly not a heel strike, pro tend to do a midfoot strike or a forefoot strike, especially among elite runner that's the best way. It's the way we run barefooted on the forefoot and most of those elite African runner start running barefooted so they keep that natural habit of running like that ...

Estuvo bien el video, me gustó. La música no estuvo mal pero soy más de otros estilos más rotundos porque esa música no muestra el esfuerzo que tiene que hacer para alcanzar esas velocidades.
