West African Migrants are in the African American Dominated Cultural Center of Harlem New York.
Between Queens and Harlem, more Senegalese Migrants are coming in and taking resources. This putting a DIVIDE between both communities.

As an FBA in NYC I can definitely say that Africans look down on me even tho I’ve done well for myself. They just don’t like us no matter what.

I'm a black man from New York and I kid you not, in the 90's African immigrants hated us. African cab drivers wouldn't give us rides because they thought we would rob them. They had more love for Arabs than they did for us. Some would even use a strong R when calling us the N word.

I lived in Fargo, North Dakota for 5 years. We had a huge population of Somalians (I know, other side of the continent, but still). They absolutely refused to assimilate. They took over entire apartment complexes and were so rude to people who look like me in stores, they ran a lot of us out. No matter how friendly I was to them, they were extremely unfriendly to me. They refused to speak English (at least to us). And that was nearly 20 years ago.

People have always fled to America and they WORKED. The Chinese, Irish, etc. Each worked and got respect and accepted. All of these migrants from everywhere expecting to be taken care of is the problem

Let's keep it 💯. I'm a Foundational Black American. I'm also a veteran. Foundational Black Americans are respected throughout the world. I've lived in South Korea, Germany, Japan, Abu Dhabi and Saudi Arabia. Africans are NOT respected anywhere on this planet. 😳😳 The moment they hear that American accent. You're treated different.

That’s not true. I have been to many different countries and they automatically knew my family and I were Black Americans. We just don’t look like Africans. We just don’t.
