The "Goodnight Saigon" performance was incredible. We know the history of John Kerry. He was the one person who looked like he was going to cry, besides me, here, lucky with my #240 in the draft lottery though no bone spurs. But we watched what was done by good men in our name under the orders of people sitting in a white palace in Washington, DC. And we all knew someone who eventually came home, alive, who told us it was all a scam. And now Russian soldiers take orders from another leader sitting well-protected in an even more opulent palace. How many wars would be fought if not urged on the citizenry of a country by leaders who have something to gain by NOT sacrificing themselves (unlike, say, Jesus), but sacrificing the lives of others they claim to care about in their thoughts and prayers but never in their actions. Where have all the young men gone? Gone for soldiers every one. When will we ever learn? When will we ever learn?
