This right here. Sometimes I see these posts on reddit where people are going 'my bf doesn't like my cats, AITA for not wanting to give them up even though I've had them ten times longer than my relationship?' and variations thereof and I'm just GIRL IN WHAT UNIVERSE IS THIS EVEN A CONSIDERATION YEET HIM OUT THE WINDOW. If any potential partner of mine doesn't love animals, specifically cats, and even more specifically my cats at least half as much as I do, that's a dealbreaker on the level of wanting kids for me. Especially since I do NOT want those, only cats. [insert Dany 'they're the only children I will ever have' gif here]

@4nn4h from a non-haitian black person, it is very well-known that haitians and other island black people are extremely discriminatory towards african americans (often blaming our ancestors for being sold into slavery and similar weird behavior). idk if it's a cultural thing but there's usually an attitude like they're better than us for whatever reason. we might as well joke about it.

HAAAA this reminds me of my ex who, when I broke up with him, REFUSED to let me go. Literally. I had intentionally broken up with him in the middle of a public parking lot after seeing him lock his OWN MOTHER in the TRUNK OF HIS CAR the night before (majorrrr scary psycho vibes. I was 18 y’all, it was a learning experience) so I knew he had potential to do similar shit to me. But uh… needless to say he got very angry when I ended things. I quickly got in my car & my window was rolled down. he DEATH GRIPPED my car window AS I DROVE AWAY, and was literally screaming that I “will regret this” and “I’ll see” but I kept driving. So many witnesses. I was going slow but this dude was genuinely willing to be dragged across a parking lot to “prove” how much he “loved” me. He texted me about 200 times that night until I blocked him. TWO YEARS LATER he got a new phone number and called me from it!!!!!! I was with my current BF, but he kept *insisting* that I “had to miss him” and that we should meet up and talk. I blocked him again. THEN just a year ago he found my goddamn Venmo and started sending me money just so he could message me. Talking bout “I’m rich now” “I miss you & I know you miss me too” “let’s talk”…. Crazyyyyy. He sent $250 in total which my boyfriend and I spent on a nice dinner & then I blocked him there too. It’s wild. The only reason I haven’t gotten a restraining order is because I know he moved out of state for his job that made him “rich” lol. Be careful out there y’all.

I remember when I first saw this I was thoroughly perplexed by the “twist.” His name is not his name😱his name was “Carter Duncan” of course it wasn’t real. It's the fact that he would be watching her on the cameras while stroking her abducted cat. I distinctly remember hearing "you stupid b*tch!" when the fight started, when I saw this in the theatre

Honestly, all things considered, this definitely sounds like one of the better ones (fatal attractions will always be formulaic but that's just the name of the game), though maybe that's just cuz of how realistic it seems with her repeatedly going to the cops for help for not a damn reason + her dummy friend telling her to give him another chance just for him to suck as bad as she thought 🤣 she seemed generally like a more realistic version of these women than other movies

To the point of why he's poor, I know something like that usually happens with serial killers. They have to devote so much time to their obsessions, even before they escalate to actually killing people, that there's not enough time left over to make more than a basic living. I guess it makes sense that it would be the same way for compulsive stalkers. Also, I have to recommend Ratpocalypse, a movie where God turns politicians into rat monsters, played completely serious.

Those computer engineers who use their knowledge to hack and stalk you are just sick humans, and even if they didn't know how to code best believe they would find another way to stalk you. An ability to hack doesn't make you more prone to stalking, you have to have that propensity inside of you already.

Maybe it's just me, but the more charming a person acts, the more skeptical I am of them. My brain automatically goes to "They're wanting something" because ain't nobody going to go that far in being a charmer without being a sleazeball. 'Course that could just be my trust issues and my ISTJ tendencies of treating every new person I meet like they're up to something coming through. Also, I blame movies and TV shows for making it seem like it's super easy to get a restraining order. You have to have a lot of evidence to get a permanent restraining order against someone, and even if you do somehow manage to get that restraining order it's not going to actually do anything to protect you physically. Like yeah, if you have an RO and the person you have it against shows up, you can call the cops and they'll arrest them but if someone is stalking and harassing you to the point that you're able to get an RO, they ain't gonna be stopped a little piece of paper. The potential of being arrested isn't enough to stop that level of crazy. And as a dog mom, I totally agree. If someone even so much as threatened to touch my dog in some way, that would be the last thing they did. I've been a true crime fan since I was a kid, so much so that at one point I actually considered going to school to become a forensic scientist, but all that to say that with my knowledge, no one and I mean *no one* would be finding their body. You hurt my baby, I hurt you. You threaten my baby, and I will end you.
