This was really helpful. I'm recieving my mini pro in a couple of days for use with my friends band gigs. Knowing that I can just grab his facebook API key and set it persistant so any time his band performs and the Atem MP is on site we can go live on facebook easily. The detail of how to make a thumbnail frame and know there is a 10 second delay between when you hit on air and when the stream appears on facebook is very helpful!

If you had some guest that connect either on Facebook or for example on Skype, did you had some tools where you can do a double box or settings that can be use in a way to bring that on the live show

very great but one problem, how do you add the overlays you normally use with obs, without the laptop, like the live logo, your media logo on the video

instead of a thumbnail, you can also use a second laptop as a source and cut to that source (displaying the slide.) This way you can work on the fly instead of needing the graphic in advance.

Very informative, I have purchased a Atem mini pro iso and I have a couple of zoom events so I am using the USBC as a webcam on a laptop I am streaming via Wi-Fi, I still want to use the Atem software to control the switching and other stuff, but my question is can I run the Ethernet cable directly from my atem Mini to my laptop that I use that has my Atem software? I do not seem to be having a lot of luck. I can do it with my other Black Magic switcher but not with the Mini?

Hi Kennis. Quick question, when I click to go on air from the ATEM do I have to go to my facebook page and click "go live"? That is what is happening for me here. I have to click both places to actually go live

Anyone having problems with the output? When I click on its asking me to download video software/capture card. I though the atem didn't need that. Any help would do.

Do you have to either schedule and event or hit the go live button every time you want to go live? I thought I saw a tutorial where just hitting live on the ATEM would start the stream. But that doesn't appear to work.

Hi now Facebook have changed to Creator studio nothing seems to be the same, go live seems straight forward I have no idea how to set schedule stream nothing seems to happen at the alloted time. Are you likely to do a video on creator studio? This one was brilliant! Thanks

How can face book audio

Figured all that stuff out already. Pretty self explanatory. Want to stream direct to FB without using computer at all. i.e. Not going to FB page or Live Producer each session, just press on air to connect to FB direct as advertised on repeat ongoing basis weekly. Don't want to fill out FB page text info or use their 3 step hook-up process.

Hi , I've problems to stream to Facebook with the ATEM mini pro...only Facebook gives me problem, KZfaq twich and restream no problems.. but when I try use the ATEM mini pro encoder I get always an error message that says connection lost and I've a lot of stops in the stream.. FTTH fiber , so it's not an internet problem... So you know what the problem might be ? Of course if I use vmix or obs no problem... So Is a sort of encoder problem on the ATEM mini pro side :/

What happens if you schedule an event for 2pm and go live to the key at 1:57? Will Facebook know the key goes to the 2pm event?

Great video but I am having issues going live to Facebook using the persistent key. Once I enter it like the video and then hit go live on the ATEM mini Pro, the Live just flashes red and never stays red. Does anyone know of a solution or if I’m missing anything? Going live to KZfaq or Twitch works just fine.
