Ahh DAVE LETTERMAN. What a funny individual. I use to love staying up late just to see what he came up with. It was never a disappointment.

Bill Woslouis! I’m sure you know they also gave Kenny a speaking role on an episode of “Ed” which of course he absolutely nailed.

Kenny and Pat Farmer did many funny bits on The Late Show over the years like "Pat and Kenny read Oprah transcripts." Maybe you will string them all together for us!

..after having watched this video, I'm wondering if the CBS crew was intimidated by Dave....or not... ..at NBC, it seemed like everyone grew-up with each other (Dave, Paul, Hal, Morty, Biff, and the rest seemed 'relaxed' with each other) and -- as the Sister Sledge song goes -- it seemed like the crew and staff (for the most part) epitomized: 'We Are 'Family'... ..once Dave went over to CBS, I cant help but wonder if Dave's attitude/character towards the new cast and crew made them feel 'awkward, intimidated, uncomfortable, and out-of-place', having Dave as their 'boss'..??! ..or, did he make them feel at home..??! 🤔 (..in this video, Kenny seems 'uptight', like an employee being interviewed by upper management, rather than employee and management relating 'friend-to-friend'..) 🤔

I chatted with one of Dave’s stagehands who continued to work on Colbert’s LS. He had been employed by CBS, not Dave’s production company. I asked him what, if anything, was different? He told me, “With Dave, we were working _with_ Worldwide Pants. With Stephen, we’re working _for_ CBS.”

Pat Farmer is still there for Colbert (saw him at a taping). If you could do a compilation of his Puerto Rican cue card guy Tony Mendez, that'd be great.

Pat retired in late August 2018.

Great video. As always, Don. Stupid question, and I don't want to make a faux pas, but any recent news about Kenny? Is he going well?

Not a stupid question, just one that can’t be answered.
