As a dude who works in post-production myself, ngl guys this has insane potential. Easily the best fan edit I've ever seen. Can't wait until the cut of the film comes out. I'm not a VFX artist I'm just an editor, but people aren't realizing the amount of work you guys are putting into this. This is a massive project. Some of these shots that were re-rendered look absolutely sublime, and the deepfaking looks pretty damn good. Keep going guys!!! You should be proud of yourselves for taking on something like this. Dude, Sith Luke standing over Owen and Beru's burning bodies is horrifyingly wicked. I really like how this edit seems to be leaning into Obi-Wan's PTSD visions--it was one of my favorite parts of Kenobi but I felt they didn't lean into it enough, just like one or two nightmares and seeing Anakin in the distance that one time. Between young Anakin showing up in his binoculars and the other visions here with the lightning and the more in depth dreams, this really looks like it's doing the concept justice.

This whole thing is ABNORMAL!! You're legit doing better work than Disney on all of this!

This is not just a simple re-cut, looks like you have undertaken a major attempt to re-do the show into an exciting event (hopefully one complete movie??) with additional footage from other shows and new imagery and added special effects. If this had been the actual trailer or even the actual plot for Kenobi would have electrified the fandom. Truly insane how fans of this franchise and piece together and edit and create what would most be enjoyed by the community than the actual studio at this point.

I admit I'm of the old school and don't return to the Prequels and couldn't finish this series with how they handled it, but seeing that moment with Ben looking at Vader and seeing Anakin, teared me up with Obi Wan. So brilliant.

This was way more fun to watch than the actual trailer. I’m not one of those big time critics who completely criticized Kenobi, but the show does have problems. The amount of detail you put into the Grand Inquisitor’s design and voice, Fifth Brother, and the Fortress background, were so good.

This looks absolutely incredible. All the locations in the original looked bland and uninspired and everything had this muted look to it. This edit definitely fixes that on all accounts and then some. This is what Star Wars can be when there is genuine passion and love behind the projects. I have fews suggestions about some edits that I loved in other fan renditions- which I'm almost certain you have already thought of. In case you haven't though, I'm going to list a few of my favorites. One edit had Qui Gon's voice talking to Obi-Wan after he defeats Vader telling him "He is the chosen one, He will bring balance to the force". This was a genius way of giving Obi-Wan a great reason to leave Vader alive besides simply not wanting to kill his friend. That kind of made him look a little selfish in the original considering Vader will go on to commit genocide. Another one was how Obi-Wan's escape (both times) was edited. The first time in the field, there was an added bit of dialogue where the Storm Trooper asks Vader if they should pursue and Vader says "Not Yet". Again, actually giving a reason for Vader not following Obi-Wan. The second time it was edited so that Reva tried to strike Vader as the second ship was leaving- giving a reason for why Vader couldn't simply grab the second ship like he did the first. The last suggestion is just my own. I'm not sure how much of the rescue you are planning to show from the Inquisitor Base, but when Obi-Wan goes into the room with all the preserved Jedi, I can't help but laugh because of how ridiculous it is. All the Jedi are completely preserved as if they are simply frozen in action. A youngling is even shown with his helmet still on his head. The thought that all these Jedi were killed and then posed in action stances before being preserved was always ridiculous to me. I don't know if you are planning on removing or keeping this scene. However, I feel like keeping it but editing the Jedi in the walls to actually look dead would have added much more gravity to the situation. Again this looks absolutely brilliant, and I can't wait to see the finished project. Good luck and may the force be with you.
