Wait hold on, this dude said “It would’ve been self defense if it was a handgun.” Well Kyle last time I checked when it happened was 17, which means he cannot legally purchase a handgun (only people 21 and above can). Furthermore I’m sure there is some law out there in the state prohibiting minors from possessing or open carrying a handgun. Finally any firearm can be used for self defense, it doesn’t matter if you look menacing. Plus Kyle showed proper trigger discipline and never put his finger inside of the trigger guard. While the prosecutor pointed it at the jury with his finger inside of the trigger guard. Kyle was also being chased by two career criminals, one wanted to bash his skull in with a skateboard and the other one pulled a Glock on him. So if you ask me Kyle did everything correctly and it was self defense.
