Here's initial impression of new Kensington SlimBlade Pro Wireless.
There's lots not to like about it - the switches suck compared to Expert.
There's quality control issues with it.
There's no battery meter anywhere - including nothing on Kensingworks - WTF.
If you have the SlimBlade cabled version, skip this version - it's bascially the same thing.
As a trackball fanatic I like it and will keep it.
I was not compensated in anyway by anybody so I can say WTF I want.

Does it support profiles to quickly switch between right and left-handed?

The function of this Trackball in Bluetooth mode will depend on a few things. If your Motherboard has intergraded Bluetooth, you must hook up the Antenna for better Range & connection, or buy a USB 5.0 Bluetooth Dongle if you don't want to use the Antenna & it will work great. You should also be able to use the Mouse settings in Control panel to setup the speed & button function besides the software.

How is it after living with it for a while? Been considering the slimblade wired, since I dont know if the wireless version is worth the extra cost. Just curious if there were any quality of life issues that have cropped up since posting the video.

Very good since I got it. I for a while had trouble with it disconnecting/reconnecting with its delays which drove me nuts, but it was a problem with my USB-C cabling to my puter. I have to silicone oil the ball and blow out the ball to socket area once a week, but otherwise outstanding. I like the wireless over the wired as I sometimes like to recline back very low in my chair and scroll and browse w/the slimblade on my fat belly which would be awkward to do wired.

You may have already figured it out by now. I set up "Enter" on my Expert Mouse through Kensington Works. Go to Mouse & Keyboard --> Keyboard Shortcut --> blank space to press which key you would like used or any combination.

The two clicks that are presented at 9:07 can be fixed, there is a reddit post on that.

I signed up for notification under Kensington main site, newegg, B&Hphoto, and amazon. Got notification from amazon first.

It remains the click sound to disappear like for logitech mx master 3S and it is perfect.

Would be perfect if it had silent switches. Why are we still producing mice with obnoxious clicks? Likewise with the scroll wheel "clicks". Ugh.

Just received the SlimBlade Pro, coming from the expert mouse, I'm quite disappointed in this new model. I'm finding the accuracy at slow speeds to be shocking and not accurate. a bit jumpy or sticky/frozen. Hopefully ill be able to return this and go back to the expert mouse.

@ElliottMoo I watched another video that explains that accuracy will differ between wired, Bluetooth and dongle mode. Make sure to try all three and switch the DPI until you find the one that works best.

@jrgarciab I tried all the modes. Going a higher DPI made it worse. In the end I found a firmware update that lowered the pooling rare and that fixed the issue completely. Now it's working great and love it.

as of today, sold out worldwide and no news from Kensington as to when they will produce and sell more (confirmed via phone call with customer support)
