Very true. My husband has admitted to me and I have seen that I am considered downgrade compared to his exes. They were all “exotic” or extremely beautiful according to society standards but they were entitled and users. The funny part is I’m judged mostly by the women in his family more than the men and he said it’s because they also know about the superficial nature of these “10” females. I find that the older men get even my own father , the more substance is important in a woman especially when it comes to gaining and keeping wealth

My wife ain’t winning any beauty pageants (neither am I) but we started with nothing and have built a life together that many envy. She chose to be a teacher so that she could have a career that would also allow her to be a mother. I went into business and have been making six figures for the past several years. She’s my peace and my lighthouse. I knew she was a wife when I married her. After 16 years, we’re still pulling together as a team and we’re both super happy with the life we built. I wouldn’t trade her for a dozen dimes. Her qualities make her a different kind of 10.

@@shototodoroki3292 I’ve dated an ugly woman that thought she was that deal. That still confuses me to this day. On our last date, she told me: “I had a guy tell me I was beautiful today.” I told her: “I get compliments all the time. Don’t worry. After a while, you get used to them.” I broke up with her a couple days later. My point in saying this is: I dated 10’s and I dated 2’s. Both were 2’s on the inside. Looks have no bearing on personality for women. That’s because women don’t have to hunt like men do. We are forced to accept how we look and adapt accordingly.

I've said that exact thing under other comments on channels like these! There are so many guys lamenting on how celebrity men are getting divorced by their wives and the wives are taking all their money and the wives didn't love them. Those men never talk about how the men divorce their first wives to chase after the new chic. How, despite their wealth, they are incompatible with these women (especlially physically- 5's trying to date 10's) etc. These celebrity men KNOW they are making a bad decision but do it anyway because they want the look of a young beautiful woman on their arms. No consideration for her personality and your legacy (children, family) etc. No consideration for your first wife that is a ride or die and supported them and birthed their children all those years. They like to pretend they never saw it coming. Take responsibility for your choice in a partner. Take responsibility for your future family. Take responsibility for your legacy.

She’s beautiful, perhaps she doesn’t even realize how beautiful she is but as a result she’s not entitled. After 2 kids naturally her body changed a bit and I accept that. But she keeps the exercise habits she had when we met rather than just using having kids as an excuse to get fat. And what do you know about 3 years after our youngest was born. She is back within a few pounds of her weight at the wedding and fitting back in the jeans she wore before we got married.

Beauty is relative, what one person considers a 10 someone else considers them a 6.
@NaeNae23
@NaeNae23 3 жыл бұрын
@MP Firstly being a black person, I have no interest in people who are blonde or blue eyed, its never been my thing but I understand some people like that but this is not the majority contarary to what the media would like to potray. Universal attractiveness is also relative. What they consider beauty in Africa, wouldn't translate in the same way in China. What you are considering as universal beauty is the concious and unconcious subliminal messaging (TV, poster, movies, magazines etc..) that you have recieved since childhood which determines what consistutes to a 10/10 when it comes to beauty. This is why the ideal of beauty differs from Western society, the East and Asia and Africa. Also what is considered beauty now has evolved from even 15 years ago. Lets take western society, blonde blue eyed model thin women were considered the industry standard of beauty, now its racially ambigous curvacious woman who are now considered the industry standard all because of sublimial messaging on social media. Everything is subliminal messaging, and depending on where you come from determines what what you consider a 10 and what another person deems as a 6.
@NaeNae23
@NaeNae23 3 жыл бұрын
@MP Again I have to respectivly disagree. You have missed the point with regards to subliminal messaging you receive growing up. Also many of these researches are limited to western theoratic research and data is limited to westeen groups. I can only go with experience and those around me. At most a cluster or large groups of people will be attracted to the same person but they will still give them different ratings wirhin rhoae groups. Some men like skinny women, other like curvacious and others thick. What determine so called universal beauty is what the media wants to convey. I'm still a believer that beauty is in the eye of the beholder because I've seen my great grandparents look at each other like they are still teenagers because beauty transcends the superfcial, hence the reason many beautiful people are single or have problomatc relationships bwcause that was many peoplea docus not their character e.g. the Kadashians, Halle Berry, Brad Pitt, etc... I can almost garauntee you that what African American men find as a 10 is going to be different to what a Scottish white Man will xondiser ro be a 10 and what a Scottish man considers a 10 will be very different to what a Black African man will consider a 10 etc.. and within those groups they will rate individuals differently. Human being were born to be attractive to more than one person, it does necwssarily make them a 10 because those are just personal ratings. From a personal perspective, I as a black woman would consider myself above average. I've bewn told I look similar to Janet Jackson but more curvacious then her. When I went to France, I didnt get much attention, when I went to Denmark, I received so much male attention and this is the land of blonde and blue eyes people. When I've gone to Africa I get average male attention etc.. the irony is the place where I have had least male attention (France) is where I met my boyfriend. Because although he was French he preffered women of colour over the French standard of slender petite women.

I realized it didn’t matter anymore, another woman would always be more attractive then me and I would never be happy. Someday I would be elderly and nobody except a person who loves me will find me attractive. I’m 30 now and I don’t wear makeup anymore I do absolutely nothing to my appearance actually but I do feel more beautiful than I used to before when I was so concerned about it.

Looks are subjective, but looks do matter. Most people are fine with “average” looking people because there will be one or two qualities that will boost them up past just “average looking”. Like if you were the average looking girl and had a cute laugh, or had a really good personality or had a stable life financially that boosts you up past just a normal “5”. I’m still pretty young so maybe it gets different as your older but i don’t know a single person that’s going to try to talk to a person that’s ugly. If someone comes up to you and tries talking to you ugly guys will tend to get turned down. You can’t say it was their personality because you didn’t know them. People will say they aren’t into only looks to seem like a good person but it’s a lie.

What I’ve observed is that a woman being gorgeous will reel a man in hook, line, and sinker. But I also find that a woman being submissive and not combative and not challenging her man is something that a lot of men love. Where’s the balance between a woman who’s kind but also won’t put up with mistreatment. Some men state that some women are loud and hard to get along with but don’t mention that they dog her out or don’t have any ambition or talk to her any kind of way. There has got to be a balance and accountability.

I believe amazing men exist in the world, but I guess I have too much “masculine” energy because I just want to publish a few books so I can buy an amazing house and I want to get together events that help change the world. I’m so focused on success and survival that I’m like... “hmm...where does love fit in?”. I’ve always been goal-oriented and it’s what drives me. I’ve heard this masculine vs. feminine concept being used so much on KZfaq and I need to do more research but sometimes it seems that some men (not saying The Roommates do) shame a woman for being multifaceted and amazing. I just think a relationship works when two people who find each other incredibly sexy have a lot to bring to the table as far as personality yes...but I don’t think any of these KZfaqrs would date a lady working at McDonald’s.....more than looks and being kind matters to men 😂😂😂 I take no one’s advice. But I find these videos interesting and conversation starters nonetheless.

Delilah May This thinking is indeed different and that’s perfectly fine for there to be difference and a new perspective. Please link me this video lol. I’m trying to understand how the word “ugly” could ever be positive. It’s hard for me to call other people ugly...let alone myself because I look at a person’s soul and spirit and that can be beautiful regardless of looks. Maybe the term “giving up” is harsh but I have let go of obsessing over if I’ll find love. I’ve always based my life on what’s meaningful to me outside of love anyway but now it’s an active decision. I find myself to be a beautiful woman. Men feel the same and I know good men exist but I guess I don’t wanna worry anymore if a handsome and good man will come around my way or what I’m gonna have to compromise to have to compromise (if anything) for love to fit. Or worrying about looking my prettiest so that my partner can feel validated that he is with a gorgeous person. Damn I typed a lot lol. You are becoming my therapy 😂😂😂

Social media, most women are looking for the "picture perfect" photos but half of them I wouldn't even turn my head to if I seen them in person. There are some beauties that goes unnoticed and those are the one's you would break your neck to look at in person. From their face to their walk and the way the outfit she have on may define her curves. People have to click off of social media for once and tap into the real world.

The person responded that they didn't constantly look at Instagram, Twitter, or dating apps and be exposed to someone younger, better or different looking, staring at asses and breasts, assets, looking at and exploring every opportunity. They just loved their wife or husband for who they were.

Most beautiful women that are out to get a rich man will leave him as soon as any sickness,poverty and any other tragedy happens because they really don’t like you as a person, they like what you have . Same for woman...do you really wanna be with someone who sees your worth only for as long as you are “attractive “. Why are we using numbers to rate women and men???? This has always baffled me. We are human beings. We are souls. Not a math equation. Damn, we have feelings. When we start to treats people we get lost in our minds. Feel yourself when you are with someone. Become aware of everything you can express, explore and share with someone. If you can go deep with someone they are for you. We are so conditioned to look for symmetrical faces, certain physiques etc. This isn’t love, this is lust.

We put value/rating on everything we do in life. From how well a product works we give a rating, how good a business is whether the service and food is great or awful, The value of a used car isn't worth as much as a brand new one, We rate our enjoyment on how much we liked an activity like a movie, show or concert. So of course Beauty and compatibility will be rated. Even if we don't give a number to things, the results won't change people like what they like it's not conditioning.

Why must my beauty be scrutinized or compared to another Queen's beauty to have "quality" standards. If people stop getting told what to look for maybe they will think for themselves, just as if they stop looking for other people's validation on their actions they can think for themselves. It’s okay for people to have a preference but no one should be rated based on their appearance and body type . This is also why so many relationships fail is because people date based on looks and that’s it . There’s more to it that lies beneath those looks like personality .

Most people don't have "more to them". This whole "everyone is special" thing is just there to make low-level people feel better about themselves artificially. False confidence is what starts most problems in g h e t t o communities. You are taught in those places to constantly pretend to be something you're not. When the ocean is so polluted, why would I swim in it? I have a boat. I'll have my fun, and leave before the boat melts. It's not "for looks" so much as it is "I know you're a terrible person, I'm not looking for anything with you, I'm just an animal with needs." That kind of thinking is too honest for most women to handle.

I think it’s completely fine to rate people, especially if it’s in your head or to one of your friends. I don’t see any reason why you’d go up to a person and tell them they’re ugly? More often than not if you’re ugly you already know because you won’t get much attention and looks when you’re walking around. I think rating someone on a scale is fine especially when scales mean different things for different people. I think 5s are average. 6s are a little bit above avg. 7s and 8s are a lot of the supermodels, instagram models and like the more attractive people at your school, job or university. 9s and 10s are pretty rare and they’ll tend to know that they’re a 9 or a 10.

My income combined from both of my businesses generates over six figures monthly. My husband makes six figures annually. My husband finally decided this year to launch his own business. After years of me nagging him to get his time back. We take all our income and fund our lifestyle together. I started out less than him but we didn't let the money change us. I was a single mom also fresh out Army. According to Kevin, nobody should've picked me lol. I'm glad my husband had sense to. I consider myself attractive but I don't think my looks is what made our relationship work this long. He has my back and know I got his.

Kevin hits the nail on the head. I dated a very attractive woman back in the 90s. It was all about the image with her. She put a lot of pressure on me. It eventually ended. I learned a valuable lesson in that experience. I focus more on how a woman treats me now, rather than just her attractiveness.
